I want to be a better person,a better friend,a help when someone needs it.I want to be able to trust people again,to be able to weed out the true from the false.I want to be able to make the right choices without hurting anyone.I want to be able to be mature enough to ask questions when I have doubts.I want to be able to see who is real and who is false.I just want to be a better me.
I received this from a friend of JKRapture,(our good friend Jesse). His light has been taken from us far too soon
Just to introduce myself, I am Jesse Kilgores friend from the Air Force, Frank.
I saw you recently posted on jesse kilgores myspace. You let him know if he needs to talk, you are there for him.
I am not sure if you have heard, but yesterday Jesse passed away. I'm not sure how well you knew him, but my guess is maybe he said something to you about a problem he was facing due the sincerity of your comment you left him. Hopefully you might be able to provide some sort of insight if he did say something out of the ordinary.
I am sorry if I had to be the one to pass on the news, and I am sorry we lost such a good friend.
Please, please, please advise everyone you know that they absolutely can NOT go to the polls wearing any Obama/McCain (or whoever you are voting for) shirts, pins, hats, etc. It is AGAINST THE LAW and will be grounds to have the polling officials to turn you away. This is considered campaigning and no one can campaign within X amount of feet of the polls. They are banking on us being overly excited and not being aware of this long standing law that you can bet will be ENFORCED THIS YEAR!!!!!
They are banking that if you are turned away, you will not go home and change your clothes and return to the polls to vote. Please just don't wear ANY gear of any sorts to the polls! Please share this information with as many people as you can. If you are already aware of this, please don't take it as insulting your intelligence.
Have a great day and see you at the polls on November 4th.
We’re getting the word out to voters about Governor Sarah Palin’s barbaric record on killing America’s wildlife, especially her active promotion of the brutal aerial hunting of wolves and bears. As governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin has proposed paying a $150 bounty for the foreleg of each dead wolf. The aerial hunting program she champions has already killed nearly 800 wolves. She’s opposed efforts to save America’s polar bears from extinction. She’s fought against efforts to save some of the world’s most endangered beluga whales.
At nearly every opportunity, Governor Palin has sided with Big Oil, mining companies, wealthy trophy hunters and other entrenched special interests in support of policies that would greatly harm the wild animals we treasure.
