Mother's Love Posted 1/5/2007 2:14:06 AM Yesterday,I was taking a habitual evening stroll in the park next to my college. The breeze was refreshing and the weather invigorating. Aren't these the conditions which make for a perfect breeding ground for nourishing thoughts? All of a sudden there was a deafening sound of ferocious barks which shattered my concentration and pissed me off....."DAMN THESE STRAY DOGS"....i muttered. As i looked to my left,trying to locate the exact coordinates of the source of melee, I saw something which is gonna stay in my head for the rest of my life..... There was this puny,skinny, nondescript female dog shielding her puppies and in the process trying to scare a dog, which was twice her size, away. The intruding dog must have breached the single mother's domain or tried to harm the puppies. The verbal dual continued for a minute or two culminating in the defeat of our intruder who silently left his post and receded in darkness. BOY....i was delighted but flabbergasted. How on earth can this soul take on that huge dog?? I got the answer instantly......her driving force was her puppies. The puppies surrounded their mother and started doing weird things..like licking and playing....They were ecstatic. Their mom was their HERO...:) Mother is indeed someone whoz debt can never be repayed. She can go any distance to make sure her kids get what they want. The rogue dog symbolises adversity which,no matter how hude or daunting, is annihilated by mother's grit and determination. I bow my head to the spirit of motherhood, which makes this world a place worth living in.. LOVE U MA (3) Comments

Me Posted 1/3/2007 2:21:20 PM must have been an ordeal for mama, for they say,i was a normal delivery. fair and chubby with curious eyes, born with hands so quavery. 21 years have passed, oh much water has flown down the THAMES. what do i know at the end of the day, some equations,relations and their names? i'm still that curious eyed infant, in a quest to know why was i dumped on this weird planet, like a spare arrow from the bow. running..here n there for answers, yeah...i do look deranged. but alas,no one to light my candles, only looks so strange. at this darkest moment, something lits up my visage. light at the end of tunnel, is this a mirage? slowly i saw the effaced figures.. now getting conspicuous. hey!! that's me i cried out.....thats me...naked.... 20 years ago, playing in mama's lap, heavens...everything seems so dubious. the pictures changed, they moved on...like a movie. it was my life on display,in peices, how dumbstruck i was...truly. i was the mischevious boy, i was the rowdy brat, and coquettish teenager was i. i was the celebrated winner, i was the banished looser, that broken heart was mine. the picture became clear in my head, and all the answers i got. we are the actors...oh yes...damned actors, of this cruel,perpetual plot. i am the father, i am the son, and the loving husband am i. there will be ups,there will be downs, oh yeah...but i can never say die. now i can feel a burning pain in my head, for all the answers i have received. this brain is too diminutive for wisdom so immense, now please let me lie... now please let me rest... now please let me sleep.....
