Been busy and emotional Posted 11/7/2007 6:51:11 PM Thank you for all the comments that have been left for me during my absence. It feels like it has been forever since I've been here, unfortunately I haven't had time to post an entry or do anything really. Between work and just general stuff going on I feel as if I have been swamped. Things have been very hectic around here. I have also been up and down emotionally, one day I feel really happy and then the next I seem to be sad about everything. I think some of it has to do with the holidays approaching. This will be the first Thanksgiving and Christmas without my mom. I signed up for NaNoWriMo and I am behind with that. I need to devote more time to writing. I also need to spend time drawing and get a few book covers designed. Those things will have to wait until things calm down a little though. I hope to catch up with everyone soon. (0) Comments

Good morning Posted 10/25/2007 7:53:53 AM It has been rainy and cool here, I have enjoyed it. It was a break from the hot temperatures we have been having. I am ready for autumn. The rain was really nice, we need a lot more to help with the drought, but a little is better than none. I hope to get one or two of my short stories posted later today, that will probably be after work though. I may also post the poem I wrote and read at my mom's funeral. (5) Comments

My first entry Posted 10/24/2007 11:15:54 AM I found NB last night after following a link left in a friends journal. I seem to be addicted to journals and blogs. Unfortunately I have not been keeping up with all of them as I had planned on doing. Sometimes life has other plans for you, than what you want to do. My mom passed away in July and I still seem to be having some difficulty in dealing with that. I have spent most of my spare time writing. I write poetry and back in March I started a novel, it is finished other than the editing. I have also written several short stories over the last few months. It seems writing is a form of therapy.
