General: Ballad of Vancouver Canucks Riot of 1994

Posted on 7/18/2007 6:55:40 PM | (0) Comments

Heard there was a riot
in the middle of Robson.
Over a thousand people,
maybe a little more,
without any escape route
from dozens of police
throwing tear gas everywhere.
A father is pleading
to the cops who just spray
more tear gas in his face,
while his wife and kids
are choking on pepper spray.

[spoken]
Her Majesty the Queen
charges and commands all persons
being assembled immediately to disperse
and peaceably to depart
to their habitations
or their lawful business,
on pain of being guilty
of an offence for which,
on conviction, they may be sentenced
to an imprisonment for life.
God Save the Queen!

Heard that in Surrey
bootleggers were selling booze
to rioters who descended
upon Vancouver in droves.
All of them rode drunk
on the Skytrain into town.
A couple thousand people,
all drunk ran riot down Robson,
climbing to electric wires
overhead, and trying to
start trouble with tourists
just cos the Canucks lost
another stupid hockey game.
And when the Riot Act was read,
a dozen hooligans dropped their shorts
to moon the police, while their women
laughed and jeered at everyone.
When the night was over, it was clear
to see all was in chaos and anarchy.

Weeks later, blame was thrown around,
but one thing must be made clear...
Cops instigated a riot in Vancouver.
Cops instigated a riot in Vancouver.

Is this the history of a Westcoast city,
from the first 420 to a hockey game?
Why are the cops causing trouble?
Is it to protect people from themselves,
or to protect the haves from the have-nots?
What's really clear this time,
reading the Riot Act was the crime.
Cops started the riot, never took the blame,
and used news footage to help finger others.
When the tiplines were used,
we goose-stepped backwards
into a fascist regime.
While tear gas was thrown
and beanbags fired at will,
one bag injuring a youth,
now left brain-damaged and homeless
back in the ghetto of Surrey.
Nobody mentioned the booze,
flowing along the tracks from
Central City Station to Granville.

Weeks later, blame was thrown around,
but one thing must be made clear...
Cops instigated a riot in Vancouver.
Cops instigated a riot in Vancouver.

General: Won't You Please Let Me In (The Looney Bin)

Posted on 5/2/2007 8:51:27 AM | (0) Comments

If you're not crazy enough
in this brave new world,
if you're not hearing voices
or seeing things,
the Man won't let you into
the looney bin!
No, the Man won't let you into
the looney bin!

You can walk around all sad
and blue, suffering
in silence until you go mad,
but they won't let you into
the looney bin!
No, the man won't let you into
the looney bin!

For the only way in is
to hallucinate,
to say God is telling you
to be harm another,
or harm yourself,
to see the devil in a baby,
and try to kill it too...

Well, then though my hearing
is perfectly normal,
and my sight is clear,
my brain's inflamed
with a strong desire
to medicate this pain within.
So please let me in!

Oh, I am crazy enough,
though I don't hallucinate.
Oh, I am as mad as those
who inhabit your psychwards,
though my fears are washed away.
Oh, no voices plague me, but
my heart has something to say:

If I'm not crazy enough
in this brave new world,
if I'm not hearing voices
or seeing things,
won't you please let me into
the looney bin!
Oh, won't you let me into
the looney bin!
Oh, I feel this strange desire
to voice this pain within!
Won't you please let me in?
Won't you please, please let me in?

General: Inaction of Good People Proven Again to be Root of Evil

Posted on 4/20/2007 12:52:34 AM | (2) Comments

Regarding the Cho Seung-Hui murder-suicide, Virginia Tech bears some responsibility in it happening.

IMHO Cho killed 32 people because he had lost face by December 2005 due to two incidents of harrassment reported to VTech but not aggressively pursued.

His QuestionMark persona of 2006 demonstrates this loss of face.

It signalled that Cho was spiralling out of control. His involvement in arson at a dorm is evidence of this.

Yet the President of Virginia Tech was slow to act. He now denies Cho's action was in any way influenced by what Virginia Tech may not have done.

We cannot blame the two women not to pursue charges against Cho, for they feared being stalked further by him.

Thus, this tragedy emphasizes that individual psychopaths are the cause of the tragedy at any college murder-suicide, not the inaction of presumably good people.

And this in itself is as evil as shooting 32 people dead.

What could have worked in this case was to graduate the guy, give him a degree in English, and bid him farewell.

Instead, the President ignored the obvious fact that Cho was rapidly deteriorating, and left counselling up to a man who walked out of a psychward back in early 2006, a man who went on to call himself QuestionMark.

Thus Virginia Tech is partially culpable for the deaths of all 33 students through its inaction.

Just agreeing to a student policy isn't enough. Written contracts with the offending student is advised, as well as constant monitoring.

This makes me wonder about all his roommates. Why weren't his roomies this term more vigilante?

Posted on 4/18/2007 6:53:08 PM | (0) Comments

I am cold - my ways are empty
this night is grey and cold and heavily
it holds me firm
and gives me no more
I am imprisoned
I do not awake
and the last light soon goes out
I see myself falling
but I do not give up

Chorus

Because I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world
I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world

Take to me the strength
take to me the heart
take to me all hope
and all the pain
from my hand
and it gives no more
which is to be
where am I
where are my large heroes
even if we do not go
I know not where

Chorus

Because I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world
I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world

I do not know where
even if it goes
if it goes to

Because I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world
I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world

What If It's Angels? (poem)

Posted on 2/11/2007 7:15:47 PM | (4) Comments

What if angels came knocking at your door?
Would you get paranoid and not let them in?
Even if it was Gabriel, Michael or Gideon?

What if angels came looking in your window?
Would you be paranoid about those angelic spies?
Even if it was Gabriel and the two other guys?

Why would you be paranoid of God sending angels,
When people have been blessed by them. Still,
Isn't this a sign of being mentally ill?

I don't think you're crazy unless you think
That somebody is trying to get in,
And spy cameras are in your walls.

All this is a sign of is the evil within.
So get help, take a pill - heck! go to sleep!
Before you go psychotic on me.

I don't want you to go crazy;
I believe in your unsanity.
So, what if they were angels, you see?

What if they came knocking for you?
What would you do? Where'd you go?
Hell or heaven, it's all the same.

Honey, I think you are sane!!
All that that knocking means is
The Second Coming came...

after reading jung
he is limited alot -
maybe creation
really is not his thing, see?
his shingle's psychiatry.

while i cannot compare me
to great men of art -
they are human after all -
and i am no Jung,
no Freud, no Horney, no Szasz.

trolls called me a fraud;
members have reviled me too,
and scant fewer, friends
I did make of them today.
Enemies, for them I do pray...

"Oh, do not blame this poor fool,

another symptom of yours -
'tis your brain; it's sick.
I have done nothing to you."

General: What is it with women like this?

Posted on 2/7/2007 8:48:02 PM | (5) Comments

Currently some broad from the Big Apple is mad at me for daring to associate an email address with her primary one.

She never clued me into telling me about it!

Instead, she assumed I'd know.

She also said she never gave me permission to use her phone number.

She said she never gave me it, therefore I had no right to call her.

Lady, if you leave your # on your youtube site in the description about your best friend running away on you because you made the mistake of walking around outside with a parrot on your shoulder, then everyone knows your #.

And your real name, especially if you don't edit your letters.

Furthermore, if you are so emotionally disturbed that you figgered the best way to die is to sleep on a ledge at the top of your apartment building, then someone is gonna care about you.

So why are you so psychotic you hate me for caring so goddamned much?????????????

Why can't I? Liza Phair

Posted on 2/5/2007 12:44:31 PM | (1) Comments

LIZ PHAIR LYRICS (Apologies to Liz and her handlers at whatever music corporation owns her)

"Why Can't I?"

Get a load of me, get a load of you
Walkin' down the street, and I hardly know you
It's just like we were meant to be

Holding hands with you when we're out at night
Got a girlfriend, you say it isn't right
And I've got someone waiting too

What if this is just the beginning
We're already wet, and we're gonna go swimming

Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you
Why can't I speak whenever I talk about you
It's inevitable, it's a fact that we're gonna get down to it
So tell me
Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you

Isn't this the best part of breakin' up
Finding someone else you can't get enough of
Someone who wants to be with you too

It's an itch we know we are gonna scratch
Gonna take a while for this egg to hatch
But wouldn't it be beautiful

Here we go, we're at the beginning
We haven't fucked yet, but my heads spinning

Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you
Why can't I speak whenever I talk about you
It's inevitable, it's a fact that we're gonna get down to it
So tell me
Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you

High enough for you to make me wonder
Where it's goin'
High enough for you to pull me under
Somethin's growin'
out of this that we can control
Baby I am dyin'

Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you
Why can't I speak whenever I talk about you

Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you
Why can't I speak whenever I talk about you
It's inevitable, it's a fact that we're gonna get down to it
So tell me
Why can't I breathe whenever I think about you

The Perfect Gangster

Posted on 2/5/2007 12:34:39 PM | (0) Comments

Where I live now, the LL's son is the oldest - they are South Asian - and that boy has psych dept issues.

He speaks Punjabi so far it sounds like a severely disturbed white kid, and maybe 3 sentences contain English in it.

He teases his younger sister mercilessly. And she always gets him in the end.

Once I spotted him out in the back outside. So he knocks on the door and has this fantasy that with a knife he can break into his mom's in-home business area to get back into his house through the locked access door in my bedroom.

So I told him that there's no way he's going to do that. Then I said, "Go apologize to your sister. She'll let you back in."

Imagine! A 6-year old girl pwning a 10 year-old boy!

I blame his disturbed behavior on being spoiled; this is the legacy of South Asian culture.

He'll make the perfect gangsta.

General: Living in Interesting Times

Posted on 2/4/2007 7:52:31 AM | (0) Comments

It was not Muslim terrorists that originally started the chain of events that led to the 911 attack, supposedly by bin Laden.

Rather it began with Zionism over 100 years ago, terrorism in Palestine in the 1920s up until today, and the invasion of foreigners into Palestine claiming to be returning home to Israel.

And just as the Palestine league of Arabs were about to ask for independence after WW2, the Allieds helped establish Israel and then the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand continued the wartime espionage into the Cold War and continues today, with help from their respective embassies and sympathetic people both in the Church and in business, government and especially the military.

The game of power politics is tied to commerce and international banking and oil, but the supreme masterminds of 911 are to be found in the CIA, the Bilderbergers, and the ECHELON project members listed above.

Don't forget most of the terrorists were mainly Saudis.

Bin Laden is only a tool of people more powerful than he is, and he had alot of money to fight to free his homeland of the corrupting influence of the one nation capable of the destruction of Islam, America.

However, this does not excuse America from imprisoning 1000 Arabs when only 10-15 are guilty.

Nor does it excuse carpet bombing Iraq 24/7 since the Gulf War became too expensive to sustain.

This is not a war between Christians and Muslims.

This is not a war against terrorism.

This is a war between old friends, an endless war, a war over oil.

It is not Armegeddon, not Golgotha, and especially not yet a Millennialist's Paradise.

It's all about money and power, and is inhumane to alot of women and children and especially men.

And its root cause will always be ignorance.

For the love of money being the root of evil due to the inaction of good people worldwide arises out of ignorance.

War itself arises because governments have the monopoly on force.

Yet peace is still at hand when one contemplates one's actions before committing them, and practises non-action to counteract the good people's inaction.

This is not mere words sounding mystic, but a Truth.

Non-action is not overtly acting in a situation so that no one wins or loses yet everyone gains.

A win-lose scenario is usually the result where one side acts and the other side does not act swiftly to block the one, and thus is the result of inaction/action.

In the case of the war against terrorism, because the real motives are not upon everyone's lips nor in everyone's thoughts, it is possible for the news media to filter out truth that might cause the foolish to entertain notions of "thoughtcrime" now illegal.

One cannot protest war, for that makes America strong.

One cannot support "freedom fighters", for that term is ungood.

"Terrorists" who fight for freedom are bad people.

And everyone must be on America's side or be bullied into becoming vassals of the American Empire.

This is why Mwali fell in the Comoros to US troops.

This is why the FBI wish to establish an outpost in Toronto Canada.

Then there are Israelis and criminals abusing the new wiretap law.

And thus has 1984 matured in 2007.

Yet this is not according to biblical prophecy.

Revelations paints a picture of a man hiding from State troops, his mind drawing the escape through the Door.

And yet...

There are many ways through that Door, even a Middle Way that encompasses the boundless Heavens itself yet never abandons the earth from which it sprang.

For Big Oil ruined Muslim hearts, and 911 arose out of resentment of American troops in Saudi Arabia.

We live in interesting times, indeed.

afraid of thinking

afraid of trusting

General: How the Goddess Was Born

Posted on 1/21/2007 9:56:42 PM | (0) Comments

The following is mythopoetic, but is based on reality.

During the Ides of March 2005, Shiva spoke to the Goddess through the vision of red eyes by a homesick woman who'd been abandoned by her lover.

Then the Goddess saw deities come to bow and propitiate her.

With her new powers even the heavens moved.

Yet her dancing brought dread to family and friends alike, who are lost in their reality.

So they sent her to the Moon, a 28-day stay in Limbo.

To this day the Goddess tells very few people of her visit to dreamtime, lest she be banished to the moon for life.

Indeed, she now feels people who she's befriended have turned on her. She even abandoned the stability of Lady Lithia.

But in dreamtime, Shiva waits for her return when she sleeps and the Goddess returns to dance with him once again.

General: Hacker

(written a few weeks after Mitnick's arrest in Raleigh, NC...)

I'm probably just an ordinary person,
insignificant in the scheme of things,
if you get what I mean... Time to dump this scene.
I've been from Boston to Houston to San Diego,
then around the world from Singapore to Japan,
And back home again... All without leaving the country.

I may have call-forwarded four times to get
cops right off my ass with my cellular modem.
I definitely don't like it when the heat's too close,
just monitoring all my calls for carrier.
But I dig this game of cat-and-mouse all the same.
To me it's just another game of one-upmanship.

For I am a hacker on the Internet, joining IRC,
stopping to leave a flame in Alt.2600,
FTP'ing into MILNET for some utility,
searching for that Gopher site for info,
Web browsing on some Web site on data encryption.
Man! Call it what you want, it ain't any addiction.

Don't treat me like a common criminal!
I'm relatively harmless to anyone,
just watch out how you treat me.
I'm just too damned smart to remain satisfied
without understanding technical manuals.
So please don't start with this 'dangerous' shit!
I'm just an ordinary person who wants to know...

I'm probably some ordinary guy on the bus,
going to some hacker meet in the city.
You don't know who I am, but try to understand:
I don't try to crash your bank computer,
I don't steal corporate secrets for my own gain.
All I like is information out of curiosity.

Today I was positioned as security guard watching the dressing room crew.

The head of the dressing room crew, Beth, glided in and out of her office space singing.

And I thought, "Mick doesn't hire just anybody, he hires talent."

So I Googled Beth, and discovered that she got picked up by the band for dressing room crew in Phoenix in 1994!

This ain't any run of the mill band!

This is a great mix of US and UK talent.

And it'd be my pleasure tomorrow to look after the Onstage Experience with 80 other teammates from our security company.

Why is it that when you try something good, the powers that be always use the rules to make you work for it?

I feel that they would rather see you suffer than have any happiness at all.

But when I look at it closely from their side, I have to be perfect and on-the-ball, AND READ THEIR MIND.

OK, you're probably wondering what I am talking about.

Well, go on wondering. See? It's hard to read my mind too isn't it?

I'll state it to you bluntly:

in BC Canada it is assumed that when you rent from an ex-spouse, that without documentation, you are living together because they don't know that she's hooked up with a new guy.

This totally fuxors disability pensions.

It means you have to go through hoops to convince them of the truth.

If you still can't figure out my meaning, then I can't help you.

Dumb ass government!!!!

General: Freedom of Speech is an Awful (and Dull) Lie

Posted on 11/23/2006 6:54:34 PM | (0) Comments

If freedom of speech actually occurred, then a person would be able to say anything they wanted.

On a certain fetish website, you're not allowed to mention bestiality or pederasty as a fetish in chat.

This is not hard to understand since if more people loved their animals like they do their lovers, human society would die out within a month!

Ok, make that 25 years, tops!

As for pederasty, let's just say that lynch mobs would wipe out human society. ;)

Seriously though, freedom of speech only works when you abide by the policy of the majority.

Anyone who spouts shocking monologues at random is either drunk, on drugs, or -- more often than not -- assumed to be looneytunes!

This repressiveness is why I am secretly a closet homo who is too old to be bi.

Secretly I am a fan of Madonna, considering we're the same age.

If you've been looking at my dancing videos on here, then I have to say she's an inspiration.

But she's got lots of training as a dancer.

I have none.

Recently, I've read her unauthorized biography.

Then I read her authorized bio by her fellow Italian American.

It's the same time period I like reading: her childhood, her mom dying of cancer at age 5, her first dance teacher, that gay guy who died recently, the synagogue years, her time with Camille, and then her break.

So it was thrilling to me to hear that in this years tour, Madonna will be performing in her maternal grandmother's town, Montreal.

After all these years of being proud to be Italian, maybe she'll be proud of being French-Canadian.

Maybe.

I bet she wowed Montreal.

If that's their reaction when I need a cyberhug, then most of them are bitches.

However, I am addicted to userplane chats.

Sadly though, it's not the popular form.

The most popular adult site, Adult Friend Finders, uses a web chat that was horrendously lagging when it was HTML. Now it has full Java but still lags.

And my guess is, the AFF programmer is reinventing the wheel.

Grrrrrr.

Oh well! Literotica is my friend, but I avoid chat there cos it's not Real Time like Yahoo.

IF A MAN FINDS YOU ATTRACTIVE YOU CANNOT BE FRIENDS

Posted on 11/13/2006 7:57:50 AM | (0) Comments

Many women want to argue this point and say things like " I have lots of guy friends." Maybe. There are exactly 3 cases Intellectual Whores has identified whereby a guy and a girl can be friends:

1. The guy is gay
2. The guy does not find you attractive
3. The guy already has a woman much higher than you on the ladder

Even Nietzsche knew this. Most guys know this intuitively. Most girls doubt. I have a challenge for all of you girls who still doubt. Pick a guy who does not meet any of the criterion on the above list that you think is your friend. Then ask yourself this question: If you were both alone at his place one night, and you excused yourself to the bathroom and came out naked and asked him to have sex with you would he:

1. Tell you he doesn't want to risk the beautiful friendship you have created with messy physical entanglements.

2. Comply.

Remember
...this only works if you are honest with yourself. Number one is of course something that guys hear all the time. Intellectual Whores refers to it as the Kiss of Death. It is more likely that he will jump you eagerly.

General: Greed Leads to Current Problem Along Granville Mall

Posted on 11/13/2006 2:33:51 AM | (0) Comments

Recently in Vancouver BC Mayor Sullivan has been told that the liberal bar scene on Granville Mall is not working.

Reports indicate that the police are demanding overtime for an overabundance of police in the core area along Granville between 10PM and 6AM, to keep the peace due to the high number of bars in the area open until 3AM.

Meanwhile in suburban areas where bars close anywhere from 1AM to 2AM, peace is endemic from 10PM onwards.

Yet everyone blames the bars when the problem is the growing alcoholism caused by increased alcohol sales after 1AM.

Coupled with this fact is that most alcoholics think they are invulnerable and may also consume illegal drugs like meth, use of which is growing in concert with the increasing volumes of drunks now roaming the Granville Mall core.

Add also the fact that with such hedonistic practices comes more crime and increasingly, more violence.

Hence the need for more police.

In order to solve this problem, reduce the hours back to the old 1AM cut-off and the 2AM closing.

For it will also lead to less crime, and less need for police, who are a burden to a dysfunctional way of providing entertainment to post-modern society today.

Besides, the only motive for providing so many bars open until 3AM was to profit from addicts who drink way too much.

Like, wtf?

Puffy does not equal confusion with Puff Daddy.

Enjoy the music anyways, ok?
