Thanks to darkrhiannon and delfeus, I discovered Yami no Matsuei this past week...Such an awesome show! Granted, I'm new to the whole anime thing (and slash anime in particular is a wonderfully new treat to me), but I really, really enjoyed it. Tsuzuki was a fascinating character, and Muraki was an awesome villain. I've just got to love a bad guy whose main purpose in life seems to be sexually harassing the protagonist. ^_^The animation was very well-done IMO, not that I have much to compare it to. Interesting how Tsuzuki kept turning into a rabbit? kitten? some kind of cute animal with pointy ears and a tail during his cute moments. Is that another anime thing? Or was he really turning into an animal...?If I have one complaint, it's that the show was an awful tease. ^_^ Was I the only one who cheered when Tsuzuki lost that poker game on the ship??? And then felt crushed when Hisoka showed up to rescue him. I am your jam.. . ;) I'm guessing there has to be a ton of Muraki/Tsuzuki noncon hiding somewhere on the internet, right? *is very hopeful*Okay, and the Tsuzuki/Hisoka (sub?)text was nice, too. There were some very cute scenes between them, and I really did want them to be happy together at the end. How do I love thee?. . Not that I didn't really want to see some Muraki/Tsuzuki noncon happen along the way, though...Are there going to be more episodes? Or was that really the end? I've seen 13 of them, and it looked like it could have been the end of the series. But then, 13 episodes seems awfully short for a series. :/ And Muraki is still out there to continue sexually harassing Tsuzuki! Hooray for indestructible villains. dammit. . ;D Although I'm a little unclear as to how exactly he escaped. And why Tsuzuki is only part human. Is he really part demon? If so, why? How? Did I miss something in the plot along the way? It's entirely possible, since I was really quite busy squeeing over all the m/m interaction going on. ^_^Do any of you have fanfic recs you'd be willing to share? Either Muraki/Tsuzuki or Tsuzuki/Hisako would be just the thing right about now. Heck, I wouldn't be averse to some Muraki/Hisako noncon, either. Also, are there any other slash anime titles I should specifically be looking out for? I'd love to download more if I can find them. delfeus, you gave me the link to Aarinfantasy, but I don't know what any of the titles there are or which ones are worth downloading....

When I watched the Naruto eps on CN, I somehow totally missed the Jiraiya episodes...First of all, the whole thing with Ebisu the "closet pervert" and Naruto's annoyance at having to be trained by him was very funny. ^_^But Jiraiya, OMG. I'm having trouble picturing this character actually showing up on the CN eps. dear craigslist apartment posters.... . Amy always says yay for boobies. . The "open pervert" who likes to peek into the girl's bath and refuses to teach Naruto unless he brought him a sexy babe to be with? And then when Naruto used his signature Sexy Technique, and Jiraiya said okay, he'd train him so long as he remained a naked woman throughout it all??? Naruto totally gave that suggestion the reaction it deserved. ^_^ Absolutely hilarious, but I just can't picture this airing on a kid's cartoon channel here in the middle of the afternoon...And then the scene by the river... "I hadn't noticed this before, but you look kind of sexy without your clothes on, kid." Holy crap. @_@ This entire series plays like fanfic come to life, but THAT was totally unexpected, LOL..

Okay, so I've reached the end of the Zabuza/Haku arc...OMG, OMG, OMG. All of you who were so nice not to spoil me about the ending, thank you SO MUCH. That death scene was just... *flails* With the falling snow, and Zabuza asking to lie beside him as he died, and the stroking of the face, and the hand-holding, and the "Haku, if it's possible I want to go where you are." Holy crap. I can't believe the most romantic, touching death scene I've ever seen was chanslash in a cartoon. *boggles*This whole arc was so much fun. The Zabuza/Haku scenes were just wonderful. "I want to make his dreams come true -- that is my dream." Oh, Haku. And let's not forget the Naruto/Sasuke. When Sasuke supposedly died and Naruto just hugged him close, crying. Soooo sweet. And hoo boy, the appearance of the nine-tailed fox was unexpected and very cool. *loves*On a side note, I never really paid attention to animated character voices until recently, but Haku's voice was just perfect and brought so much to his character. I don't know what he sounds like in the dubbed version, but I can't imagine any voice for him other than this one.On another side note, Zabuza is one scary character. I certainly wouldn't want to have him mad at me...Which was really kind of interesting, the parallel they set up between Zabuza and Naruto in that last episode. When Naruto thought Sasuke died, he totally flipped out and went demon on poor Haku. And when Haku died (after Naruto shamed him into actually showing his feelings), Zabuza did the same thing.Such a fun series. It looks like I've got the Chuunin exam to look forward to next...

OMG, it's canon chanslash. @_@I just discovered Zabuza and Haku this evening. Oh. My. Goodness. The way Haku said he'd aimed for Zabuza's neck because he didn't want to damage his beautiful body??? Then Zabuza complimented him with that totally intent expression on his face, and Haku blushed and looked away shyly and said, "But I'm still a child..." I started thinking that my longtime exposure to slash and mentor/student chanslash was starting to play tricks with my head, but no. It really did say that, didn't it??And Haku is just this delicate, pretty little girl-like boy, isn't he? With all that long black hair, no less. And Zabuza is so proud of him, and depends on him. And Haku is so protective of Zabuza and obviously devoted to him. I'm sincerely hoping I'll learn more about their past in future episodes.I'm guessing that there has been much fic written about these two...
