fibro is acting up, my legs are tender as if they're bruised badly, but there aren't any bruises. sitting is a bitch. therefore, in bed this weekend with a crapload of comics and China Mieville to read. I'm half-way through Iron Council, and I'd be farther but I keep being distracted by comics. I just realized today that I have no idea how many episodes into season four of House they're up to, and that I haven't seen one episode at all from it. i have been watching tv so very rarely these days. it's crazy, considering how much I used to watch when I was a kid. it just doesn't cut it for me anymore I guess. Still love House, though. I'll catch up sometime.so, comics. I just finished reading Warren Ellis and Ben Templesmith's Fell. Fantastic work. I'm really digging Templesmith's art. And Ellis, as always, is brutal and lovely. Also devoured a four-issue Vertigo title called "Breathtaker". Didn't think I'd like it, but it ended up very good. Living, breathing succubus--but she's not evil. Just... unlucky as hell.Speaking of Templesmith, I finally got around to reading 30 Days of Night the vampire miniseries they just turned into a movie, and it's sequel series, Dark Days. Pretty vicious idea, and that was an ending I just didn't expect. I can't imagine a movie doing it justice. The art made that book shine. And OH--Peter David's Fallen Angel--wow, what a fucking ride. I do realize I'm not giving synopsis, and likely I'm boring you with my kudos to stuff you have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'm tired. Braining just isn't happening right now. Also, my palms ache. Stupid fibro.Next up--fifty issues of Fables, three volumes of The Invisibles, some other oddball Vertigo and Ellis stuff, and nine volumes of Hellsing. Along with getting farther (or maybe even FINISHING) the Mieville. then again, maybe i'll just sleep.

I'm on this new drug for PMDD called Yazmin, and it seems to be working really well. I'm in the middle of that-time-of-the-month, and I'm not writhing in pain or being a major, flaming bitch. I can concentrate, and I'm not feeling randomly flaily about nothing in particular. Well, not as much on that last one. I still have those random, crappy moments, but I think they'll get better. If I ever mention getting off my meds at any time, please DRAG ME INTO THE STREET AND SHOOT ME.That is all.
