First Day Off
Posted 1/9/2006 6:47:33 PM My husband and I went to Philippine Social Security System yesterday to update our records. After that we went to my OB-Gyne in Nazareth Hospital. Then my husband ask me if we could watch "Narnia". I wanted to watch "King Kong" but that movie is over. Anyways....Narnia is a great movie. It really has a good lesson. I consider that day my first day off. Thank you mysticgurl for the advice.
Mom's Day Off
Posted 1/6/2006 7:40:22 PM I had an argument with my husband last night and it really made me feel bad. Why? He was just asking me where had some 3 things he was looking for had gone. I got mad at once because I had just came home from work. I am a working mom that works 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. I also had this small business to take care of, aside from the household chores that I need to do personally. I ask him if I can have a day off, I'm not asking for a vacation leave just a day off. A day off not to think of anything else but "Me, Myself and I". It's been 2 years now since the last time I went to a movie house so I think I will watch King Kong on my day off. Perhaps a massage, spa or treat myself for lunch in an expensive restaurant. Do you know what he said? If you have the money then go ahead make your day. Come to think of it, if I have a spare time and money, I will spend it for my child. So I guess I'll never have a day off at all!
Working Mom's Life
Posted 12/21/2005 4:10:16 AM Hello world! I know there's a lot of working moms but for those who don't know yet...it's really difficult to be a working mom especially if daddy is not working. You wake up early in the morning to cook breakfast for the family. When you go to work, you will work hard. And at the end of the day when you go home, you will cook for dinner. During days off, you can't even call it a day off because you still have to wash the clothes, clean the house, buy grocery stuff, take care of the children...STOP! Whew!! I hope dad will realize how hard it is to be a working mom. |
