Detoxification!

Right now, i.m in my home city, Sapporo! there is a reason i ended up choosing Sapporo for my vacation destination. But i.m not gonna go into detail at this point.

Anyhow, today i went to try this thing called, 'Radical Detox'! wow, i know you wouldnt get any ideas off this name. what it is is that you put both of your feet into this luke warm water and place a device into the water. the device releases ions that helps your detoxification. all sorts of metabolic bodily wastes come out from bottom of your feet and react with the floting ions in the water, then start changing color of the water. for some people it turns greenish brown, and for others maybe orange. also, as the time passes you start seeing flotage in upper part of the water. it is kinda dirty but you check the color again and diagnose your condition and see what part of your body is malfunctionnning. if the water stays transparent your body is healthy or doesnt contain much metabolic decomposition product, but most people's body are not that clean. i wanted to post a picture of my water tub, but i doubt that anyone appreciate me for showing my body waste on this site. so i decided not to.

mine was apparently average dirtiness. so if i keep going there regulary my poison will all come out of my body and become very pure...! maybe i sould keep going so that some day my mind&soul get cleansed like an angel!!( i think many people would welcome that) lol

happpy days

Finally, everything is settled. i struck a new contract with a new company and at this moment i have one week PAID holiday! yeah!! 'life is ALMOST beautiful!'.... there are legitimate reasons for saying this but i.m gonna talk about it another time.

ES from willcom:

i got a really cool cell phone a couple weeks ago. i still have my DOCOMO phone BECAUSE the new phone has manay cool features, almost too cool to figure out how to use them. so until i get used to the new phone i.m gonna keep both of them;)

summer vacation

my 'LONG'summer vacation started on monday. i got a week off from work.it is a paradise(★。★)。oO i have been sleeping 9-13hours everyday so far lol it.s almost a life of infant. last sunday i got up at 12 and took a nap from 14-17, then went to bed at 23: i makes me wonder what i.m alive for...

yet, i have many things to do during the week. besides sleeping. for one, i.m on a job hunt now. my contract ends at the end of this month. therefore, i have to take some interviews, computer skill check and interpretation & translation traials. as for computer skill part, i have to learn how to use EXCEL to intermidiate level to apply for a job i.m hoping to get. so today, i thought it would be much more fun to learn the skill with a help of glasses of beer. so i did as listening to some tom petty songs and others. it always reminds me of tom cruise when being drunk and lisning to them. A secene from a movie he is in a car and pounding on the handle, singing alond 'free fallin'. (cant remember the title now)

second, i have to study for a final, which will take place in 10days.

third, i have been posotively participating in parties and get-togethers. hey, it.s summer after all.

sunday!

it.s sunday today! i just finished cleaning up my apt. it.s been very busy lately that i didnt have time to do major clean-ups. a couple nights ago when i looked around my apt, it looked like it was air-raided. wow. since i started to go to school at night and work during the day, i feel i got no free time, but i.m sure there re many people out there who re way busier than me. so i.m not gonna complain.

this morning i was reading a blog posted by a famous japanese actress/entertainer. her blog is quite funny, and there was an episode how badly her manager spells in english. she spelled, 'excuze me': ex q z me!
lol this is super cute.

today i.m gonna spend all day just for myself! now i.m going to hot yoga class again:) viva la vie of sunday!

Hot Yoga

I tried out 'hot yoga' last weekend. It has been a huge craze in japan lately and apparently Madonna loves it too. mmm...maybe. that.s what the ads for those schools say anyways.I tried normal yoga a long time ago and I thought this hot yoga was not gonna be much different. I had heard the rumor though. The room tempreture is about 40degrees and the humidity is about 50%,etc etc. Since I love sauna and such, I didnt think it was gonna be a big deal. well,I was wrong. It was so torturous that during the class, it made me think what forced labor would have been like in minds, for example, back in the days...it was that hard. You sweat so much that you cant even sustain yourself with a certain yoga posture.(cuz your hands and legs slip) The class lasted for 90mins and I seriously thought I would never try it again especially using my precious day off. But men, my body is feeling better than ever since then. A friend of mine who accompanyed me said the same. I think this is how the big yoga craze spreads in the world.

Life in Tokyo

Everyday I take this train line called, 'Odakyu Line' to commute. This line is known as one of the busiest line in Tokyo, and I tell ya it is crazy packed in there... you dont know how many times I got stuck between the doors. Allow me to introsuce one here.

The train is generally super packed to begin with, and it gets even worse between Seijyou-Gakuen-mae and Shimokitazawa. This 8 or 9 mins is the killer. Usually I dont even get enough space to stand on my both feet. If I get to stand on my feet in deffernt spots, for example, one feet between legs of a sitting passenger and the other feet over one of his/her legs, I call this ok. often times when I.m standing like this I dont even have anything to hold onto, so I.m over the sitting passenger and reaching wall just to sustain my self so that i wont fall onto other people. well, maybe it.s hard to imagine but it.s not a figure that human shud be standing, that.s for sure. Anyways, a few days ago, I thought I wanted to reserve a little better spot for myself, and got off train at Seijou-Gakuen-mae just to let all the other passenger to be aboard and to get onto it as the last passenger. That way you can reserve yourself a spot between the door and pushy people.Of course you get squashed either way, but it.s better than being between smelly and sweaty middle age bussiness men. Station staff announced they were closing the doors so I grabbed the top of the frame of doors before getting shut. 'Grab the top of the frame and push yourself backwards against the peeps on the train.' That way you are normally in the train. (sometimes i.m scared that i might get bounced back out the doors though...) That day, i dont know what happend but half of my body was between the doors. All my force wasnt strong enough to fight againgt the passengers inside,I guess. well, this happens all the time in Tokyo. and I just thought that the station staff would open the doors for me... NO. They are too scared that if they opened the doors again numerous humans might be gushed out. so instead, one staff dashed to my doors and pulled the doors to the side and started to push me into the train with his legs.... He was 'kicking' me inside! sigh.. i was pretty shocked by his action and i was seeing what was going on rather calmly. Then, i saw his name plate... 'Manager'. !!!??? hey is this the way you treat your custormers, manager!? With your legs?? Intresting. That.s all I can say...

Everyday is a battle on the train. Tough. Getting to work is harder than actually working at company... Anyways, that very same night at a veg&fruits market i usually stop by, lively old worker there gave me two peaches for free;) I must have looked pretty bad then.. There are only few but still heart-warming places exsist in the big city of Tokyo.

long weekend and a Medusa

It.s a long weekend!!! yeah!! ...so i ended up going for two dringking parties over the weekend. i hadnt had time to enjoy myself in a while. so i decided to make the most of it. when there is a party, there are stories to tell. i know, i know. but since i m still not fully recovered from the big events, i m gonna pick the gist of the whole weekend: my chicky friend N turned into Medusa.... ??? what happened was sat night, me, N and other friends of ours went out drinking till 6 in the morning. i got home after 7. i dont know why but N had an appointment to get her hair done at 11am that morning. the thing is that she KNEW that we were gonna be out all night, and yet didnt include any time for rest in her agenda. when i woke up around 2, i got a text message from her saying that she is not sure if she could go to work with her new hair. well, a few mins later i received a picture with another message saying she looked like Medusa. MEDUSA? i didnt know what it was and so she gave me an easy descliption of the creature: snakes on her head and if you take a look at her, you will turn into a stone.... when i saw her pic, i was laughing my head off. yes, i got stoned..oh no, sorry, → i turned into a stone.. haha. i wish i could post her picture here. well, but just to be clear, she is a very attractive japanese girl who looks chinese lol (she says it herself) AND i like the wildeness of her new look. it looks good on her. it s just different from what she used to look like.
a few hours later we were out again in Shibiya with a big group of people. the powered-up N was wild;) of course, who wouldnt be!? having only 2hours sleep the very same day and getting the Medusa perm and having shots one after another... so i renamed her 'Mesusa N,the wild'. sounds silly but it has been the main topic of our weekend;)

out of season

i know, i know.... it has been a very very long time. it.s just that i didnt have any days off for about 3weeks. every weekend i had a seminer that i had to attend. but finally it.s over now.

today, i got my hair permed. yes, permed. however, when we say perm in japan, it.s more like curls or waves. so do not worry. i dont have afro or spiral perm. but what is remarkable about this perm i got today is that it is called, 'digital perm'! yes, digital. japanese are so obsessed with technology that we had to come up with the technological perm as well. lol.
actually, what it is that it is a shape memory perm, and it is supposed to last little longer than reguler perm. today at hair salon, after putting rods in my hair, for each rod a hair stylist attached a clip with a small light. all the clips he put in my hair, they were all connected to each other just like the christmas lights! in fact, the color of the cord was green, too. and when he turned it on, the lights came on (i couldnt really see them cuz they were facing backwards) just to tell that they are all in motion! lol yes, i was the human chrismas tree lol
despite the woeful and shameful moments i had to experience, my hair turned out to be just the way i wanted!

summer is here. shopping is done. it is time to have some fun!

Free Movie

i just wanna drop a line to say that i m not doing too bad any more. i have found a way to communicate with the drones at work:telepathy! kidding:) i have been just super busy with school work lately and also have been having star wars night on week-end with my folks who have seen the movie at least a few times each,of course;) yes, we have this night just for me who have not yet seen all the episodes. (two more to go)

btw, last night i saw begging of the mission inpossible 3, which has not even been at theaters yet, IN MY DREAM!
i thought it was so funny because it was not like a part of the movie. the whole movie started in my dream.(well, i got interrupted by alarm halfway...) of course, I had a part, too. lol though it was animated and it seemed almost like 'Spiderman', the movie, i was so sure for some reasons that it was the MI3 even in my sleep. i guess i wont have to see the movie anymore lol

ultmate conclusion for this is that i ve been watching star wars lately, and read an article on Tom Cruise yesterday (cus he is in japan now promoting the movie)and I am partly absurd.

i guess i shud get to bed soon to see another free movie. haha

night folks!

it happend again!

****!! it happend again. i keep losing emails or blogs i just finish writing a few secs before sending or posting it! i hate it. someone tell me where it went...
anyways, this is not the way it should start a blog after not posting anything in a long time. sorry! the reason i have not written anything these days may have a reason : i have been feeling little melancholy. and that probably stems from a few causes such as working on the B3F of a building with no windows and with commucationally dysfunctional human beings, and being heart broken. i think the two may do enough for me. things are not being friendly with me these days but if you have any tips to give out for a situation like this, now you know where to throw. anyways, my favorite show starts in a few mins and i gatta go now.... (at least i have sthg to look forward to.. )
ciao for now

Finding God in Your iPod

i havent posted anything in a quite long time. i have been kinda busy, and couldnt bring up myself to write anything here.

today i read something very intresting. that is... you can connect your soul to god through your mobile phone! in this modern era, it is so outdated to go to church every sunday. so this community(i.m gonna keep it anonymous) created this program that you can download your favorite sermon such as christian dating, old testament prophets, etc.etc. on to your phone. the newest sermon is called 'finding god in your ipod'!!!! and of its web site, it says, 'have you talked to god today?' wow.wow. they sounds like lines from the family guy. it is shocking at first blush, but when technology develops, we adjust along the way. we have been doing this in the course of history. 'e-ministry' sounds funny now but wont be in a couple years or later.

relisions are intresting, so are some rituals in african tribes and in other parts of the world. on right next to the article on the topic mentioned above, there was an another article, which mentions some of the 'rituals' in scientology:eating women.s placenta raw and etc,etc.. but hey, we, asians, eat cartilage and raw fish, meat, etc that westners dont eat. it strikes me as that is different, but more over it just makes me feel that we have so many intresting way of living:)

Sequel of the da vinci code

my country is awesome, i tell you. the sony entertainment came up with this: re-creation of the voices of leonardo and mona liza! it,s a part of the promotion for the movie.

http://promotion.msn.co.jp/davinci/voice.htm

the site is in japanese, but all you gatta do is to click on the bars under the pictures of the two, and msn site will pop up. again click on a word on left( there should be two words, so choose the left one)underneath of their pictures. in fact japanese scientists measured up those two corporal figures such as size of their noses and their hights in order to recreate their REAL voice. lol. there is also a the da vinci code museum in tokyo. it should be intresting. i enjoyed the books, but what i m enjoying more is people.s reaction to this movie. i.m not gonna get into that and offend anybody. but i.m an agnostic(in another word, i.m japanese:), and i enjoy seeing some people going insane over this issue...

The Da Vinci Code

mmm... I feel like my brain is full of words, letters and info... yes, i have been reading the famous 'the da vinci code' non-stop. considering what i have to do at work most of the time-READ (maybe talk and type a little)-additional reading material is quite a load for me. dont take it in a wrong way, i enjoy it. yet by the end of the day, i think my brain is pretty useless...ahhh. someone help me!!

My new hobby: Karaoke?

I know what i said and did yesterday was a good example of oxymoron. Well, I just wanted to drop a few lines even though i was rushed to go to sleep. Anyways, since I talked little bit about my school work yesterday, I wanna introduce my brand new 'equipment' that i just bought. I bought a KARAOKE mike! Yes, it is SILVER and SHINY.(smile) It is a little smaller than what you usally see and use at karaoke, but it has the ideal microphone figure with a long black cord. I think it.s chic lol
The reason I got it was not to have a karaoke party at home... It really wasnt my choice.Even though my mike will fit perfetly into any types of surrundings. You would be surprised to see how great my mike would look on the stage of michel jackson lol I think it would stand out more than Michel. Honestly, I.m not lying! Trust Me.
Anyways, here is the truth...
To record some reading materials or my own interpretaion for homework, the school required us to have an audio equipment with the recording function. AND it just happened that only casette recorder I could find in the house was the one my brother used to use long time ago and that is one old casette recorder lol I went to a shop and looked for a little microphone that you can attach to your shirt, the little one, you know, and apparently the old recorder only takes KARAOKE mike. I do not understand... I looked at verious kinds of microphones at the store and I made up my mind! 'I am gonna own a karaoke mike in my apartment!' lol I think it is really funny. I think it is even more funny for you to imagine me holding the perfect shaped brand new microphone and talking to the old casette recorder late at night all alone;)

Oh no..

Since I set up this blog, I have been having some thoughts i wanna pen onto this page. HOWEVER, I havent had TIME! well, maybe tommorrow... I had to record my own voice into a tape today for my school work. It is very embarracing at first, but after doing it so many times in a hope that I might sound little better for the public(well, my teachers and classmates actually), you will get used to it. lol Sad. Anyhow, time goes quickly especially right after Golden Week.(consecutive holidays we have in May. if you are lucky you get 9days off straight)

ciao

Mission Accomplished!

....OK. It was not too bad, i guess. It took about two hours for me to set up this blog. My friends who know me well enough know that i.m not good at pc stuff at all. Anyhow, the reason why i set this up is that i do not like those massive emails, yet i realized that i havent been emailing to too many of my friends in the past year. Plus, you know, BLOG is in now, men!! It.s so COOL!! It seems like the thing to do now....haha, yes i do believe that my friends would at least know that i.m still alive and breathing by reading my blog. You can comment on my life and you can hang out in front of computer and make fun of my English, yes, i.m talking to you two! My ex-roomie and her best friend! Feel free to make any corrections;) At least, I.d be honered to be part of your life. lol For those of you who are the residents of Japan,(Dont you think it.s cooler if Japan was called 'The United Japan'? lol I just thought of that..) sorry, I had to choose one language to write this blog:Esperanto! lol
