Hehe, it's snowing like a bitch out there. And thankfully, i got through to my boss, so I don't have to go to work today. That's right people, ESPN is still open. TV doesn't shut off for nothin'! So anyway, I'm home and I ain't going anywhere. The roads aren't all that bad, but i'd rather not drive on them. A few things have happened since my last post. I cut myself off finally from Jamie. I had to do it for my sanity, and it should work. She doesn't believe it, but I do. I'm going to do this.I went skiing with matt on wednesday, and it was great. One of the best days of skiing I've ever had. Granted it was Mt. Southington, the great bunny hill of CT, but there was almost no one there, and the trails were perfectly groomed. Corduroy packed powder. It was sweet. I even hit up the terrain park, and hit my first jump....well the ramp at least. I didn't actually get any air, but i have the feeling that if I had hit it a few more times, I would have. I'll have to go back later in the week and try it again. Channel 3 showed up at one point and was shooting some video. Busy Busy Busy. . I was coming down the slope when the guy saw me. His camera wasn't set up yet, so about partway down he got a little video of me. Wakakakakow!. . But Matt was behind me, and of course he was interesting because he was telemarking and had a bright orange coat on. matt had been falling all day, so I muttered under my breath for him not to fall because he was on camera. Apparently my dad saw him that night on the news. Pretty cool.I saw Daredevil yeserday. It definitely wasn't too bad, one of those popcorn movies. It was interesting because the story came from a comic book, not from some dumbass screenwriter who knows nothing about comics. Of course, it was hollywood-ized, so there were many, many places where it could have been improved, but I enjoyed it. These hollywood types are finally getting the point that these comics are dark, not bubble-gum funnies, and should be made as such. puuuuuuurrrrrrrrrr. . No word on the job yet. ugh. The diet is going well. I have no idea how much, if any, weight I've lost, but I definitely see a difference. It's nice to know that I'll be looking pretty damn good by the summer, and if I keep up the training, I'll be able to enter a mtb race in the spring or summer. I'm so glad I got the bowflex. I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself today. Probably read, maybe write, maybe take some pics, shovel, try to resubmit some photos for sale. Well, I guess I've got a good amount of stuff to do. :-).

A couple pieces of news:1) I've started a little blog to track my new fitness plan. It can be found here if you're interested: Cavs' Fitness Journal. I'm using Moveable Type for it, but I'm still not sure how to customize everything, so it may take some time before I get it the way I want it. 2) I emailed Ron Huff in the graphics department (nighttime supervisor), and he got back to me saying they just posted the two positions today, and that I'm in contention for one of them. This made me very happy...a little good news for a change. I hope to know within a week or two.3) going skiing with matt tomorrow.4) went to the mall and bought some chocolate myoplex shakes. I'm not big on this kind of stuff, but I want to at least give them a shot and see if they make any difference. 5) Lots of bad shit happened this weekend, but I'm sick of talking about it and want to just forget it. I'm trying to push her out of my head now.
