The love of a son......nothing better.

Hi everyone. It's been a while since i have posted anything. But i think you will love this..i did. My son and i had a weekend away with friends. Very busy, hectic, noisy...kids everywhere. So, he is alot like me and loves his space and the quiet. One of his mates came around today to see if my son could stay at his house for the night. I thought he might have wanted some down time and stay home, but he said he wanted to go so, I said ok. So, off he goes on his bike to his mates house, about 10 minutes later, he came home. I asked him why he was back. He looked at me with his big blue eyes and asked me if i was ok. I said i was fine and asked him why. He said that he thought i was sad that he was leaving me alone for the night and that i he thought i was upset. He made it all the way to his mates house, turned around, came home to see if i was ok. He is 11 and took my breath away..brought me to tears. I told him to go and have a great night with his mate and not to worry about me...i was not upset or sad. It kinda makes me feel like i have done a fantastic job with him...if i do blow my own horn. Kids are precious...and i feel blessed that i have such a great son. (3) Comments
