It's been awhile, Posted 9/24/2006 1:42:58 PM but I am back. I have been so busy with working I haven't had time to visit newblog. Things are really getting busy with Sound Flooring, and it is keeping me frazzled with schedulings, faxes, filings, and invoices. The invoices are the best part, because that means money coming in, which we need. I even had to drop Wednesdays at my caregivers job, so I could help install. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get dependable help these days. One of our guitar players quit the band, so the guys have been trying out another guitar player. I haven't got to hear them yet, because I haven't been able to go to the practice, but I've been told he is really good and can sing too. The more singers in the band the better, makes for some good harmony and backup vocals. Well, I will get to hear them when they play at Taps Sept. 28 and 29, and I will be able to make my own judgements then. So now I will get even busier, because I have to update the bands bio and change the lineup on their myspace page. Please don't think I have abandoned newblog, I might disappear for awhile, but I will always come back. (1) Comments

One Of My Work Benefits Posted 8/23/2006 10:21:14 PM is getting to see this picture below along with a few other very nice pieces of art. The job doesn't pay much and there is no insurance, but the people are wonderful and my work environment is awesome! I feel lucky to have found this position, I'm going to be miserable when it is over. It's lasted over two years now, and I know it can't last forever, because the woman I take care of is 82 years old. I hope she lives to be at least a hundred though, she has become like a grandmother to me. She is one of the sweetest women that I know and so easy to care for. Her husband who is a year older, is great too. He is a lawyer that still goes to the office everyday, tells me stories about when he was in the Navy during the war, and takes care of his wife in the evenings all by himself. They are great people. Well gotta go, time to fold a load of laundry before bed. Hope you enjoy the sketch. (5) Comments

Sharing A Poem Posted 8/23/2006 7:53:34 AM that I wrote years ago, I found it in some old papers when I was cleaning out my computer room. I had to write it for a college class I was taking, and I later put it on the poetry.com site also. I clicked over there and it's still on the site, with a couple of others I wrote. WHERE IS OUR FUTURE? Where is our future? Can you find the way? Will you show any others? Any time? Any day? Our future starts here Now is our time. Live through the present So tomorrow you'll find. I didn't Win The Lottery, Posted 8/20/2006 10:14:53 PM but it was my own fault. I spent too much time on the computer and didn't get out and buy a ticket. Like they say, you can't win if you don't play. Oh well, Mom was able to help a little, and she said she would try to help again. She probably could have helped a little more if I had caught her before she went to Harrah's Casino in Cherokee last night. I told Dave I was gonna invest in a slot machine and then Mom wouldn't have to drive so far, plus the money would go in my pocket instead of the casino's. It's a darn shame they are illegal where I live. Gotta go, faxes and paperwork to do before bed. I see some of you like angel and fairy pictures. I hope you like this one I found. (4) Comments

My First Blog! Posted 8/19/2006 7:48:17 PM I have had such a lazy day, and it was so great! I messed around with my page on myspace and I started this blog. The first day I didn't have to work at my job as a caregiver, handle any paperwork from the new flooring business, or do any promotions for the band. I didn't even have to take care of my kids, they are at their Dad's this weekend. I just got to lay around in my robe. Tomorrow will suck though, because I have to deal with asking my parents for money to help get Dave's flooring business off the ground a little better. Once we get it going though, I can start the business I want, and that's promoting bands. I do a little now, helping out here and there with a few local bands I know, but I eventually want to get out there on a bigger scale. I've got the PA, the Soundman, and a few Awesome bands, and I want to go National, not just local. Well, I can hope to win the Powerball tonight, so I don't have to ask. It would definitely make alot of people in my little corner of East Tennessee very, very happy, and I sure wouldn't have anymore worries. Hey I can dream can't I? 'Cause sometimes they do come true!
