The Current Issues Rant... Posted 11/2/2006 6:16:45 PM so we begin the intense coverage of the elections on every network news channel. Bringing up all issues that are to be on the ballot this year, and covering every hilariously ridiculous campaign ad which only tell us that congress and senate is just full of perverts, drunks, racists, and homophobes. Everybody bashes everybody and nobody wins....well, one will, i suppose. But in the middle of this debauchery lays the issues which again come up questioning our morals and ethics in this country. which at one point, 2004 elections, the country was splitsville in their decisions on abortion, gay marriage and stem cell research. ultimately the country went fairly conservative for teh majority and we lost a move towards change in this countries social progressiveness. Now, nonetheless, I believe we are moving a different direction. a more liberal direction, i hope. with the war getting more intense by the minute and it not going, well, anywhere really. The people, i believe, are eager for change. One of teh issues back up again for the ballot is Abortion. That murderous sick and selfish decision to save yourself and prevent to bring another unwanted life into this very progressive and accepting world. To decide to take the life of a cell, which will eventually become a very sick kid due to complication sthe mother has or that poor rape child that will be abondoned by his unknown father and taken care of by his 19 yr. old mother, is selffish and they only think of themselves, right? The christian vote in this country begins to lose their senses and understanding on what is moral or ethical. frankly, i believe conservatives and even some democrats care more about a tiny cell of life that hasn't developed a brain or a heart to that of a already full grown being that thinks and decides for it self what it can do to THEIR OWN BODIES.This is a decision that should be taken up by a woman not a man in a suit and briefcase. but Men believe they have the right to choose wether a woman has a right to choose. and this issues also affects another issues, which is embryonic stem cell research. once again, they care more about taking the life out of something that doesn't have life yet to that of a middle aged man/woman that suffers from cripiling MS. that could possibly save his life if congress would just put enough money into researching something that could save or relive the pain of thousands of americans. everyone else around the world is advancing further with that than us. but bringing the issues of relieving the pain and suffering to americans is hard to be comprehended by an administration that has been accused of torturing and humiliating people around the world. Pain and suffering is our motto. don't believe me? watch Fox News. Save Marriage sanctity...are you F'ing kidding. Save Marriage? the last study in the divorce rate according to the national vital statistics reports in 2005, stated that divorce was a steady 3.5% average. it does state that since a study taken in 2003, divorce has gone down but when we look around us you see alot more than what these polls are telling you. how many times do you see or hear about young married couples that cheat, beat, abuse, neglect and divorce each other. how many stories do you hear about in the news that tell you of man beating wife or even the show cheaters can give you an example. a country where we mock and disrespect what is suppose to be a very sanctual experience between man and woman can be taken care of easily with 25 dollars and a drunk night in vegas. come on people, if one man loves another man or woman sticks to the side of teh woman she loves and fights to be able to share the special ritual and devote herself to the woman she loves, even after ridicule and hate words slapped in their faces, they manage to keep that love and will to tell all, I'm Gay and I love this person and no matter what we stuck together and we want to be married if not to be recognized by our country but by the eyes of god. Who is suppose to love and accept all of his children, right? well tell that to the religious nuts who put together the "Hell House" in kentucky and portray two homosexual men as a pact with teh devil and for those who spout hate against another by the word of god. are we not understanding? Do you really think homosexuality is a choice. a choice to be ridiculed and hated by millions. why would you choose that for yourself. think, people, think. In all, most of these issues probably won't come to an end at this election or in the next few times they are brought up again. but i strongly believe that if we keeping bringing this things up and find new ways of explaining the importance of passing these issues into the hard headed minds of christian americans who seem to care more about themselves and their place in heaven instead of being accepting and loving to all. we can come to live in a world that is a lot more accepting and easier to inhabit. we all have the right to live. we have the right to make decisions for ourselves that will affect us . as long as we try to affect others positively. stop pointing fingers and telling them what to do and what not to do, what to believe or what to deny, let them live. wether it's man that loves a man, a hopeful MS patient, or a young woman realizes the burden on her life from this unwanted rape or sick child and to prevent the suffering of this child by removing it before it becomes one. they are the ones that have the choice to decide what goes for themselves. and as for Marijuana law. decriminalize it. end of story. stop putting people in prison for BS like that. You ruin more lives indicting people for using mariijuana than teh dangers it said to have. smoke up america. you need a break. (1) Comments

Lebanon- 170 dead / Israel - 161dead. is this a game? Posted 7/17/2006 4:37:38 PM Israel and Lebanon continue their eye for an eye attack on each other. It all started when hezbollah guerilla miltitary ambushed isareli slodiers killing 6 capturing 2. israel then decided to attack lebanon. destroying tactical lebanese compounds. but in the process killing up to 125 lebanese. isaeli have lost about 61 civilians recenlty with missliles sent from the hezbollah. attacking recenlty cities bordering the lebanon/israel. beirut, tyre, and other major cities in lebanon have suffered major casualties and hundreds injured. neither of these people in israel nor lebanon want this war. people are dying in both sides. they need to stop the attacks and let the U.N enter to help further a diplomatic resolution before the death toll rises. the united states is taking an incompetent approach to this conflict. taking sides and not calling a cease fire on both sides. destroying the hezbollah is not going to help but for the time being. it'll only bring more causalties and further the hatred between two countries. anti-israeli sentiment is growing among lebanese and palestinian because of the attacks, along with israelis wanting to further seperate themselves from neighboring countries. there is no solution to this problem unless we have all sides looking for diplomatic solutions and to put greed aside. the lebanese needs to release it's hostages and look for a cease fire from israel. israel then needs to talk to lebanon and look for a resolution. i agree that israel aggreing to the hezbollahs demands will only further kidnappings so lebanon needs to take a stand for its people and demand the hezbollah release the hostages of rthe sake of lives. israel needs to hold of on it's attacks and allow room for talks for the sake of lives of their people, at least. i condemn all attacks. no sides to be taken as long as we have deaths on both sides. p.s. this is so f'ing frustrating i feel like going there to slap some fucking sense in this people "in charge". i can only guess that the lebanese and israeli commanders don't see images of their people dead because if they are then we know how much they care about their people. are these people dying for their countries? ar ethey i fault for living in these countries? if these are suppose to be tactical attcks on military compunds why are there civilian deaths? thi sfucking game of power is killing hundreds. and the death toll is starting to look like a soccer score without goalies. News Posted 6/29/2006 1:51:42 PM Wow. I really fucked up on this one. I left yesterday to the hills by centennial park to photgraph the fire and went too far. By time i realized the fire was getting out of control i was too close and far from my path that lead me here. as i was running back down the hill i noticed my path was gone and had been consumed by the fire within a span of 30 minutes. It had travelled more 100 yards from the moment i came up to when i tried to flee. I managed to compose these pics of the fire before i put the camera away and found another way out. the fire had travelled down the hill towards the park where i had parked my truck. fearing that the truck was going to get damged i called for my parents to pick it up, but the fire was too intense the firefighters wouldn't let them through. at one point i was so enthralled by the speed the fire, that i didn't notice that i was stuck. An area where i was positioned had been consumed within seconds after i left. i noticed the wind picking up so i walked away to get the whole picture and when i turned around, about 30 yards away, the smoke had flew past that spot and enflamed the dry weeds. it was incredible picture but once again, i never realized how close i was to getting caught. stupid, very very stupid. after i found my way out. we waited until nightfall to get the truck which fortunately was in good condition except for that fact that it smells like burnt sagebrush. the fire had come as close as 25 yards from the vehicle. scary shit. most of it was fear of teh truck and my dad's reaction. lol. but i'm not quite sure yet if my life was endangered. i risked alot to get these stupid pictures and frankly i dont like them. but here they are anyway.The fire seen from the airport in Carson City, NV. coming up to the entrance of centennial park. where my truck was left and not picked up until night fall. A Chinook helicopter delivering water to the fire.Picture taken about 500 yards from the fire. About 35 minutes later that area was completely consumed by the firePower lines showing where fire had ripped through area long ago. blur glimpse of the fire about 100 yards away. the smoke was so thick it painted the area with this dark orange ambiance.The wind had picked up the fire and spread it down further. up ahead is the power that i was standing by 5 minutes the fire ran through.on my way down the path, the fire had quickly spread. that was about 30 to 40 yards away from me. the path of the fire 40 minutes after coming up the hill, my path was completely gone. leaving me with only one way out. at this point i was about 15 to 20 yards away.
