 I'm so excited! I have never done anything like this, but in February, I will be hosting a reunion party at a presidential suite in my hometown. I have reconnected with a lot of old friends and family via MySpace, and now we're all getting together! I will definitely be posting pictures! This is huge for me, as I've been kinda homebound with the kids and all. YEEEEEY freedom! lol

So I've been a mom since the age of 17. Most teenagers that have babies still run wild and hand their babies off to their parents. I didn't do that. I COULDN'T do that. My parents are still to this day battling drugs and alcohol, so I knew what I had to do. I am now 24 and CRAVING the independence I've never known. I want to be able to go out to the club with my girlfriends once a week, or even at someone's house, but without being interrupted. I guess the point is, I am VERY VERY blessed with two kids and a wonderful husband, but I let that become my whole world and forgot who I was, and now I feel like I need to find that again.

Okay, so the wall street CEOs are cleaning up this year, taking home 25 million dollar x-mas bonuses, and that's cool, but the Salvation Army doesn't have enough gifts to give needy children. Am I the only one troubled by things like this? I can donate toys, but I'm only one person. Anyway, I'm one that doesn't sit well with injustice, and this is HUGE, so I had to vent.
