Okay, I am like, REALLY excited right now, so I'll just give ya'll the low-down on what happened..
I entered a "Pimp your ride" contest on [link] a few days ago, and guess what? I WON! My car and I are going to get sponsored by MAJOR companies!!! :D
Here's the e-mail they sent me (I've still gotta clear it with my parents and then send them the final info):

This is just an early birthday wish to myself, seeing as I will not have any time for this sort of thing on my actual birthday (March 31st) due to a hoceky tournament, rec. league games, and practices.
I get to turn 17 under the BEST conditions:
1.) I'm sick (going on 2 weeks now)
2.) My car is broken, and the parts i ordered last week aren't here yet
3.) I get to play hockey WHILE I'm sick (did that last night with a 102.6 degree fever... frickin' coaches just told me to "suck it up" - as always.
4.) Having to work before, on and after my b-day
5.) My friends and I can't go out to party like we had planned months ago (no farking car; no time).
So happy birthday to me. *rolls eyes*

My parents are probably going to make me sell my car. And while I will be very sad to see it go, I do need one that isn't going to break down/have electrical problems every month...

Some f*cktard cheapshotted my twin brother tonight in our PIHA Minor League game.
Here's the jist of it:
25 seconds left in game two of the night, the Littleton Fire is up on us 5-2, and we have pulled our goalie. The puck gets cleared into our zone along the base boards, and my bro' and one of the Fire's players are racing for it. Right as my bro gets to it, the Fire player shoves him in the back and sends him knee first into the boards. He was down for a good 10 minutes, and couldn't get off the court by himself. After the game ended, we got him braced with whatever we could find, and then rushed him off to the E.R.
I just got back from the hospital a bit ago, but when i left they were still waiting on the 2nd set of X-Rays. From what I've been told, they think he's cracked or broken his leg just under his knee joint. If that is in fact the case, I'm gonna find the putz that did this to him and seriously f*ck him over! Because thanks to him, my brother is most likely going to end up WATCHING 6-8 weeks of games and practices!
And here's the best part: the guy that pushed him, was actually SMILING about what he'd done! And the dumbsh!t refs only gave him a 2 minute minor penalty, when it should have been (in any normal hockey game) a 5-10 minute major with possible game ejection! GAH!
Okay, I'm going to go now. I'm just pissing myself off worse.

I bruised a bunch of ribs and jacked up my right shoulder and collar bone last night at hockey practice. =( This sucks! I've got two minor league games tomorrow (sunday), and I don't know if I'll be able to play...
The only good thing is that there's practice for my "club" team tonight, so I'll see how I feel tonight, and then decide if I'm playing tomorrow morning when I wake up.
Anyway, just needed to tell someone. My family doesn't really give a crap -- They just say that I was asking for it by not wearing a chest protector. It's roller hockey for f*ck sake! *rolls eyes*

Well, I'm sick again. On Valentine's day to boot! I guess my body just wasn't quite ready for last weekend... The only good thing that came out of that weekend was me winning the first Minor League game in O/T. I had one goal that tied up the game, then got the game-winner about 3minutes into overtime. =)
