A bit shocked

So...my ex boyfriend and a lot of people I thought were my friends seem to be embracing as much promiscuity as possible...together. It's sickening really. I don't have any desire to be involved with him whatsoever, but I am just kind of in shock to find this out. These women knew him for some time before I did and never showed any interest then. It seems that somehow, by dating me for a year and a half, perhaps I raised the stakes on getting involved with him. From what I understand though, they aren't really involved with him, just on some conquest to sleep with any and every man they come across. I don't care really, except that it feels like what he and they are doing somehow reflects back on me, eventhough we aren't the least bit invovled anymore. Somehow they're carelessness about who and how much and when and where and how public this information becomes makes it so dirty. Not only that, but he befriended my best friend and then proceeded to tell her all the details which also sickened her. I'm kind of getting over it now, mostly by deciding not to have anything to do with any of them. That's not the type of people I want as friends nor the behavior I plan to engage in or be around. I just know though, that now, anytime I happen to run into any of them, I'm going to feel sick at my stomach. Hopefully my life will be too busy to happen to run into any of them! (3) Comments
