Mid Day Ramblings

Since Alicia's disappearance, I've felt an overwhelming sense of something, but I've not been able to figure out what or why? Mostly I've felt so helpless wondering why I feel this way, and what it is that I'm suppose to do?
Today I got in contact with a good friend who I haven't talked to in quite some time. She was my ghost hunting buddy and I trust her feelings. She hadn't heard about the case at all so I had her look up a bit and instantly she was hit with the same gut wrenching feelings.
I don't know what this means, other than we both felt that it seemed more like "help me" than anything else. And for some reason still a feeling of they are looking in the wrong place. Its frustrating beyond words.
She is going to talk to a friend of hers that lives nearby and see what she gets from it and maybe I'll get a chance to see her later today. All I DO KNOW for certainty, is this has got to find some closure because its miserable to feel so incredibly helpless.
Plus most people would probably think I am nuts :P But thats ok all I know is how I feel and that its something I can't ignore. And pray to God that she is found (hopefully alive)
I had a huge party today for Don, Jordanne, and Brooklyn. They had a blast. I thought I would share some pictures. As always my camera batteries like to die when I need them the most :P And I couldn't find the stupid charger. Isn't that just my luck?
This cake was friggen huge, we still have half of it if anyone wants a piece!!

She was driving a sliver BMW 301, which was later found near the intersection of Second and Locust Streets in northeast Rogers, AR.
I know this is a repeat for me, but I'm very concerned and still holding onto a belief that she could be alive!

I looked around to see all the things I started and hadn't finished. So, today I have finished one bottle of white wine, a bottle of red wine, a bottle of Baileys, my Prozac, a large box of chocolates and a quart of beer. You have no idea how good I feel!

What I love about Sunday

Yes, I know there's a song with the same title, I do happen to like that song very much, although my Sundays are always a bit different.
Sunday is always "outside" day. I didn't realize it but after this past week, with family in and all, I really needed an outside day. The yard is so fantastic all green and the smell of fresh cut grass.
We went to Walmart this morning and spent way too much money. Got a lot of stuff for the backyard for the kids *and adults as well of course* Volleyball net, Soccerball and some cones to make goals etc. They have been having a big time out there. Oh yea Tether ball too.. hehe
I cooked burgers and hotdogs on the grill, I love this time of year.
OHHH.. and I got one of those little trays to start seeds in and a lot of different kinds of herbs. Its time I started my own garden. I'm so excited. If anybody has any rare herb seeds you need to send me some!!!! Had the vegetable garden now for several years and really my interest has always been with the herbal things.
I bought Rosemary, Thyme, Mint, Sage, Lavender, Oregano, Dill, Parsley, Basil, Chives, and Coriander/Cilantro.
I want some white sage, for obvious reasons. I have Belladonna seeds but still afraid to plant them with the kids being so young, very poisonous. How does one acquire seeds for various plants anyway? And keep the ones that need to be kept up out of kids reach?
Any thoughts?
I know I got off topic, its a rambling day, thats another great thing about Sundays hehe

This blog post is dedicated in loving memory to my Grandmother, Betty June Moore. She passed away this evening at 6:45pm. I was there holding her hand. It was the most surreal moment I have ever had. I was so sad but watching something so beautiful I wished like a small child I could grab her skirt tales and just tag along.
My Grandmother raised me and was a wonderful woman. She had raised her babies and should have been able to take a break. But she didn't. She took the time to raise 3 more babies that needed her so very much. All my good memories as a child revolve around her.
When I got to the hospital tonight she was barely hanging on. I dont know how she made it so long. When my Grandfather finally accepted what was happening he got up and came to her side. He told her how very much he loved her. How he always wanted to give her the very best. He kissed her gently through his tears and told her goodbye. She left us at that very moment. I think she had been waiting for him to tell her.
So much I wish she could have known about me. But you know I think she can now. From a place where she understands. I miss her so much already.
OH Boy its been awhile.. Don't shoot me :P

I have been sooo busy. But I'm doing great. Been doing a lot of reading here and there and it seems like the moment I finish one thing the next is right there in a constant progression.
My brain gets so full somedays I wonder if my head will explode LOL
I just enrolled for an online accredited Hypnosis course. I'm actually very excited about it. Like I said its just that next progressive step. It really feels like every step I take is in a forward direction. And I don't worry about whats next I just take the next step and know that the path will unfold in front of me.
Only downside this week has been that my Grandmother is in the hospital and not doing so well. She has pneumonia so that sucks big time. OOOHHH and the kids are home from school so much fun.. /sarcasm off :P

I put this song on my site for a reason, I was listening to it earlier and it really struck me as one of those songs that can go both ways. Like sometimes your the windshield, sometimes your the bug. I like it either way.
What gets me is this, I agree with what Luna said earlier and believe that most "relationships" only amount to an interview process. You meet someone and you decide to give it a shot, get to know them better, find out if your compatable or not ya know? And for the most part I think people accept this process and when one party decides its not working for them the other respects that choice whether they like it or not, agree with it or not.. etc.
But then there are those times it just doesn't go that way, ugh! Where no matter how many times you try to tell someone hey its just not gonna work that they don't hear you, or refuse to. Its far worse when you have formed a friendship and you realise that while you have to end one part you hate to see both parts destroyed. But when one won't accept that romantically its over, it is they only way it can go.
Most of you know that I drove to Georgia twice this past year, thats close to 4000 miles I drove in five days time. Why? Because I saw possiblities of something more, but he did not. What can you do? You cut your losses and the small fortune you spent in gas and other things, the blow to the ego and you go on. Are we still friends? Well we don't talk a lot but if I ran into him today yeah, we would be fine. Even through all the pain and disappointment I like to look at the bright side of things. What good came from it, what I learned, and I appreciate him for the person he is. When he tells me that he wants me back and how stupid he was for letting me go, I can smile and go on because I know he is now only fooling himself.
On the reverse, letting someone go and having to become a complete bitch to force them out of my life does not suit me well. Moving in with someone for 4 days and leaving may seem harsh but it was too fast and it didn't fit me. I felt it would have been more wrong to have stayed and then been the bad guy later. But now I have to hear how much he put out for me, how much he did for me, ect. Why couldn't I just give him a chance? Why couldn't I look past this and that. WHY WHY WHY?
WHY? Because there isn't a set time to decide if someone is right for you or not. There just isn't. When it can feel right part of the time, and then suddenly feel far more wrong there is a problem. And the way to handle it isn't by staying around. I guess I will have to deal with the complaints of how much it cost him and how wrong I have done him, but I don't see it that way. Just like I don't see myself as done wrong in the Georgia situation. Did it suck? Yea of course it did. But he did me a favor, he gave me the opportunity to move on and find something that was right. Instead of making a life built on lies that would have resulted in a bigger heartbreak down the line.
In the end we all have our close calls, the ones that could have been, would have been, and maybe should have been. But the way we handle it for good or bad, defines our character.

It Lives

Hey guys I am ok, alive and well even.. Just been a bit stressed out lately and when it gets overwhelming I kinda shut myself off. I don't mean to its almost like a regenerative state if you know what I mean.
I will say though it shows in my house, when I need time to think I get really quiet and then I clean LOL There are rooms that haven't seen this deep of a cleaning since I moved in :P
Its kinda funny actually cus I always have trouble getting laundry folded and put away. Its not one or the other but the fact that there is always so much of it that its hard to keep the kids out of it until I can accomplish both tasks. So since my bathroom was so shiny and clean I walled myself in there all afternoon to get it done. If your wondering how this works or why, well I blocked myself and the clothes *atleast the folded ones* in so they couldnt be stepped on, messed with, or anything else til they were done. Then of course I have to have the bathroom back so it can be used which in turn forced me to get them put away. Sooo Wheeeeee they are all done now YAY! From here on out my plan is one or two loads every day instead of what ends up looking like the leaning tower of piza.
I watched The Illusionist tonight, it was really fantastic. I love illusion so it was right up my alley. Anyway, I gotta go to bed soon but I think I might be around a bit more tomorrow now that the bulk of my work load isn't stressing me out anymore and things are getting a lot more peaceful.
Loosing my Mind Staring at Fruit Loops

Today is the first official day my kids are out of school for the holidays. They will be home until January 8th and on this the first day I am already contemplating suicide.
My oldest who is grounded from the computer for the next two days and just landed herself in trouble by making the mistake of emailing me. Can you say busted!?!
I don't want to leave the house because it would require dragging all of them along and all I really want is nicotine, is that asking too much? Ok well that and Diet Coke, Nicotine and Caffine by far my two biggest weaknesses. Right now I need both.
To Downscope, I chose the fruit loops over the fruity pebbles "thinking" they would make less mess, however I was wrong.
OMG, My husband just pulled in the drive I have never been so happy to see anyone in my entire life, even though I am only happy he is here so I can leave.
I am disgusted with him on so many levels right now. But I will save that for a private blog later. Time to find a store and a Sonic!
What makes these questions so bad is that every one is guaranteed to explode into a major argument and/or divorce if the man does not answer properly, which is to say dishonestly. These questions have only one right answer, but many wrong answers. For example:
1. "What are you thinking?" The proper answer to this question, of course, is, "I'm sorry if I've been pensive, dear. I was just reflecting on what a warm, wonderful, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, beautiful woman you are and what a lucky guy I am to have met you." Obviously, this statement bears no resemblance whatsoever to what the guy is really thinking at the time, which was most likely one of five things: Baseball Football How fat you are. How much prettier she is than you. How he would spend the insurance money if you died. According to an article in Sassy Magazine, the best answer to this stupid question came from Al Bundy, of Married...With Children, who was asked this question by he wife Peg. "If I wanted you to know, " Al said, "I'd be talking instead of thinking."
2. "Do you love me?" The correct answer to this question is, "Yes." For those guys who feel the need to be more elaborate, you may answer, "Yes, dear." Wrong answers include: "I suppose so." "Would it make you feel better if I said yes?" "That depends on what you mean by 'love.'" "Does it matter?" "Who, me?"
3. "Do I look fat?" The correct male response to this question is to confidently and emphatically state, "No, of course not" and then quickly leave the room. Wrong answers include: I wouldn't call you fat, but I wouldn't call you thin either." Compared to what?" A little extra weight looks good on you." I've seen fatter."
4. "Do you think she's prettier than me?" The "she" in question could be an ex-girlfriend, a passer-by you were staring at so hard that you almost caused a traffic accident, or an actress in a movie you just saw. In any case, the correct response is, "No, you are much prettier." Wrong answers include: "Not prettier, just pretty in a different way." "I don't know how one goes about rating such things." "Yes, but I bet you have a better personality." "Only in the sense that she's younger and thinner." "Could you repeat the question? I was thinking about your insurance policy."
5. "What would you do if I died?" Correct answer: "Dearest love, in the event of your untimely demise, life would cease to have meaning for me and I would of course hurl myself under the front tires of the first Domino's Pizza truck that came my way." This might be the stupidest question of the lot, as is illustrated by the following stupid joke: "Dear," said the wife. "What would you do if I died?" Well just so everyone knows, I took a few days to think about it, really only took me a few hours once I had quiet to think clearly, but I remembered why I am not there, and I have totally decided he is not good for my life. Yes he helped me and was a great inspiration but that is where he needs to stay before I hate him or worse before he stops being those things and pushes me down. He has that ability if I let him, and I know that is how it would end up. SO.. I am not even going there. I have peace of mind right now, why mess with it. The grass is not always greener on the other side and he has made that a lesson in reality for me once already.
I am so blessed to have people in my life right now who love me and care. And even more who accepted me back into their lives after I left the way I did. That means so much more to me than anything overly romantisized that he can feed me at this point.
I took an even bigger step and removed him from my phone, my contacts, and really once and for all laid him to rest in the graveyard of my heart.
In the end he turned out to be a liar and a fake, but as I said I don't hate him because for once someones lies turned out to be a blessing in disguise for my life. Everything happens for a reason. The bottom line is I needed to wake up and see that I still had a life to live, that I wasn't the one who died in that accident, and he helped me realize that. And then later also woke me up to the people I have in my life as well, and the things I took for granted.
Officially taking off the Rose colored glasses and seeing the real beauty of what is, Makes me more happy than he ever could have.

Well it's not all that bad, but I was at the office alone and I had to run to the bathroom, the vent makes a lot of noise so I didn't hear anyone come in, after I got done, washed my hands and looked in the mirror I decided to re-adjust my top cus things were popping out and not thinking left the bathroom in the process only to meet my boss face to face.
AS A KID, WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP?
OH god I can't believe I am admitting to this.. not even really sure I knew what it represented, but beyond just wanting to be in magazines I wanted to be in Playboy :P I can't remember what I wanted to be when I was really little but that was around 10 so it counts.

(I have later learned ways to lighten those very quickly)

I wrote this a little over a year ago, and stumbled across it today. I remember so vividly how I felt at that time and found that even now that it has all been said and done that I still find it so inspiring. It taught me a lesson. It is possible to love again. Enjoy!
Ok peoples, here is the question of the day. (Dont feel free to answer just read)
What is wrong with me? My stomach hurts, my head hurts, I can't eat or sleep, I find it extremely hard to focus on anything, tv is now boring (you are thinking yes she must be ill here right?)
I don't think it will take a doctor to figure this one out but I might need a shrink later. Haven't experienced these kinds of symptoms much in the past but oh my God it feels just like being hit hard in the gut and then you realize you are saying yes yes hit me again, give me more, I havn't had enough yet!
Maybe the first time you don't realize what is happening as the wheel turns and spirals out of control (the way fate does its dirty work) you think you are ill or that you can't take it or that its just too much. (some unfortunate souls just run away)
Or you finally allow destiny to take its course, and it all just melts away and all you have is bliss, and you forget that you ever went through such agony and confusion to get to the joy, ecstasy, elation, and affection.
Then fate has its way with you again, and yet another lesson is learned and the pain surfaces (here is where you want to die) and you wonder how you will ever pick yourself up again. But you do!
Now most importantly when you think back, you might think of the good times, or you might think of the bad times, or how it ended and tore you into. But what you do not think of is how you felt when it began. Those moments fade into the distance and over time you forget that it was ever hard to get where you were. That you fought vehemently for what you had. And those were the moments that defined you. It is in a sense the labor one must perform in order to reap the benefits later, such as in childbirth where there is immense pain which must be experienced in order to bring a child into the world, but afterwards is rarely remembered with the same vigor as when it was experienced. In essence you disregard it.
Then one day Fate steps in to throw you another curve ball.. (if you are lucky) And suddenly you realize you have been blindsided and are reeling out of control. The pains come, you can't eat you can't sleep, you can't concentrate on anything at all..... etc, etc, etc....
And my friend when this day comes you will say to yourself "oh God now I remember what it feels like to be in love."

Time for a Pick Me UP

It has been a long week but things are looking better. Don and I went and looked at some land by my Grandparents house and it is perfect. We are totally in love with it. Here is a pic of the view from it.. This was taken up by the road and its so much better just a little ways down into the land. I might take my camera out tomorrow and see if I can get better pictures for you guys :)
Anyway I am pretty excited about it. Funny how sometimes the people who are most important to you are the ones that have been there all along. But we can be too blind to see. When it came to the point I could look back at the things I wanted most out of life and see that he still echoed those things I knew.
Anyway on another light side. I started making video scrapbooks. I am really enjoying it. This one is my favorite so far. I made it for my bestest friend Kim and her family. It makes me cry everytime I watch it but in that good way. I wanted to share it with my friends here though.
