I rarely do this sort of thing, but davewhat had it in his journal and I thought it looked cool. :) I think I might have known some people from Saudi Arabia, Uganda, and Zaire, but since I can't remember for sure, they don't count!

Unsurprisingly, the renovations are still on going. And I am still very tired all the time. At least my back no longer hurts because I have the MOST COMFORTABLE MATTRESS IN THE WORLD. It's the same technology as Tempur (which is a sort of visco-elastic foam, developed originally by NASA for its astronauts) only made in Belgium so it is about half the cost, here. Which is still expensive but, did I say that this is the MOST COMFORTABLE MATTRESS IN THE WORLD.

Okay, folks. I'll be offline for about a week. Things are beginning to get chaotic here again.Tonio's sister is coming home tomorrow after a summer of working in Ibiza, Spain, so, she'll probably want her computer..this computer back. I hope she won't be too uncomfortable in this mess...But since the works are taking forever, we're going to try to tackle the office/study ourselves..pulling up the linoleum and sanding the floors and putting layers of varnish.. The electrician should come Friday or Saturday to put in the dedicated circuit (so the power doesn't go down when someone dries their hair). Please wish us luck. I've never done this before, but I've been watching the workers...Hopefully I'll be back Sunday or Monday, if all goes well. Antonio needs his computer for work, and I have tons of webpages going out of date, myself. Not to mention the entertainment aspects of the internet (yay LJ, MU-folk!). :) :) --It will be so nice to have my computer back..and a beautiful new desk as well... I am daydreaming. :)Best wishes to all. :)

The weekend was blissfully quiet, although all of Saturday was spent trying to battle the dust and break down some old pieces of furniture so they can be thrown away. After that, I went straight for the shower, and just really needed to go out of the house. Even though it was 10 degrees, we went for ice cream at a place called Zizi's! It was quiet excellent. And..we saw a bar...called...the "Fubar." Um.I had been hoping to get to the movies but it didn't work out. Last weekend I got to see the League of Extraordinary Gentleman, which was entertaining enough but somehow failed to be as epic as it was intended to be. The popcorn was excellent. Today is fairly quiet too. Only two workers. Sigh.
