Posted 5/4/2008 5:07:37 PM After that 2 week trip to the Philippines, I'm so happy I can use my computer again!!!!!!!!!! Seriosuly, I go on everyday, I could barely take the wait. It was some serious anticipation. Anyone ever been to Quezon City, or Manila??? It reminds of when I went there when I was 5... I liked climbing the trees to get mangoes- Now that I'm older, I'm tall enough to reach them without climbing. =) It was so awesome. I love it.

Posted 4/16/2008 4:11:01 PM Isn't it just awesome when your school/school district is put in the newspaper???? I think it's even cooler when it's mentioned in the news- Unfortunately, I just wish that schools were recognized for the good things. They always report the bad things.. I mean really, when my school or something totally pwns another school, it doesn't get recognized. But when a student brings a gun to school, a laser pointer, or writes a threatening message on a bathroom wall, it's acknowledged. It's not like you should just hide all the bad stuff, but why hide all the good stuff? All I ever see in the newspapers about my school or district is about them getting beat by sports teams(and not even mentioning when they won the Regional Title), or how a student brought a gun to school. Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with them posting that, but why only that? It's so unfair!There are good things about it. It makes it look like a bad place to attend, when it isn't. Why so negative?Oh wow...
Schools Are Going Crazy!
Posted 4/15/2008 5:13:28 PM I don't know if anyone else has realized it, but all the schools that are known are going so crazy these days! There are threats being dyed on bathroom walls, parents having medical emergencies out of no where, school-lockdowns, students bringing laser pointers and 'supposed' guns... It's total chaos- And it's not just one school. It's everywhere dude! Some of these cases have even happened in the same day, and it's getting worse! A lot of schools and universities are closing down early, and opening up again- All from these threats being written down in all these school buildings. I'm starting to think this stuff is a hoax, or something- It's going everywhere, and it's almost creepy. Not scary. Creepy. Just saying. What's going on?! Know any other crazy things happening in schools?

A person who, in your gut, you knew that they would probably be your best friend forever? Is there a person you've seen, long enough to have an impression on? How do you feel about them? Do you want to to see them again? Do you simply wish to see them again? Does this message make you want to see them again more? Does it make you want to chase after them? Does it make you wish for the chance to chase after them? Do you wish to relive the day/night you saw them, just to talk to them more? Have you looked them up on Facebook or MySpace just to see a picture of them? Do you feel like you'll bump into them whenever you go to a public place? Have you had at least one dream about them? What made you so obsessive? Why would you do this after seeing that person for only one day or even less? Heck, what makes humans like that at all? Let's face it, some of us might have answered yes to those questions, some might have to re-read them to say yes, some wish to say yes, and some said no. Honestly, consider yourself lucky that you said no. It's crazy how infatuations can be so powerful, and how you feel like you're seeing the signs to never give up on it- Like a movie of the same plot, or even a saying. Although you shouldn't take those 'signs' heavily, consider them the strengthening point for yourself. If they can't get out of your head, let them stay there! Maybe that person's supposed to be there. Not all infatuations are bad- So let it last as long as possible. Maybe you will get another chance. Education Question...?
Posted 4/5/2008 7:39:32 PM This is maybe the most random serious question I may ever ask here... Are there school districts that don't go all the way to 12th grade? I know, this question came out of nowhere, but I am very curious. Although I shouldn't be so concerned with this(as it doesn't apply to me), I have seen/heard of like, 8th graders that won't be going to be high school in their school district- Since they don't have it. Which leads to my next question- Are there districts made specifically for high schools? In my own opinion, I think school districts should go all the way up to 12th grade, even if it doesn't have Kindergarten or something... Seriously, I just think it's a better system if the school district's grades go all the way up to 12th grade. Of course, that's just my own view of it. It all depends on the structure, and the amount of high schools in the district's zone and everything else I'm not aware of. I was told there was no such thing as a school district that didn't have high school grades, but I have seen a lot of them from research, already. I've noted that most of the districts are in larger towns and cities, but I still don't see why high schools aren't included in their district. Is there a reason for it? If you have an answer to this, please tell me. I'm still trying to find out, myself...

Posted 2/26/2007 4:04:51 PM Before reading, see the blog 2 doors down. The first steps Ayumi gave on music was in the rap scene. On December 1, 1995, Hamasaki's first album along side with Dohzi-T, DJ Bass Nothing from Nothing was released. There's poor information about this era in Ayu's life but it is known that there was virtually no promotion for the album. After failing to chart in Oricon, the project was most probably dropped by the company Nippon Columbia. Hamasaki met her future producer, Masato Matsuura in a disco club called Velfarre.[3], which was owned by the Avex company. As she had not known him nor seen him in person, when he was introduced to her as the executive director of Avex, Hamasaki mistakenly greeted a person sitting next to him, as she had heard he was much younger than he was. She later met Matsuura again, at a lowbrow karaoke bar, and while she was singing random songs, he picked one song for her to sing (which was by Tetsuya Komuro). Afterwards, he asked Hamasaki if she wanted to pursue a singing career. Not feeling confident in singing, she stated firmly that she didn't want to. After a while, Hamasaki lost contact with Matsuura. She had given him her phone number before, so he left few messages on her answering machine, but as she quickly forgot his name, she didn't do anything about it. One day, when she was walking through the center street of Shibuya, she received a phone call from Avex. She was put through to Matsuura and as they talked, she initially expressed new interest in singing, because she didn't have any other activities, but as Matsuura mentioned vocal training and singing classes, she resigned again. A week later, she changed her mind once more and went to Avex offices herself. Hamasaki was contracted to take vocal training in Tokyo but she stopped attending as she found it too rigid. She kept skipping the classes but didn't tell Matsuura about it. When he started calling her, she would switch off the phone, knowing that she'd be asked about the classes. When he finally found out, for a more relaxed atmosphere Matsuura sent Hamasaki to New York, an event she would later say was exactly what she needed. When taking the entrance exams again, Ayumi ventured from her former talent agency SOS (targeted mostly at young models) to Sun Music, because the chief of SOS felt she would not do well because of her short height and would do much better in other activities, such as appearing on television. Hamasaki reportedly used the pseudonym Kurumi Hamazaki once during her works, as she acted in low budget dramas like Miseinen and b-movies like Sumomo mo momo; however, she did not find success. Hamasaki recalls the times of her activities in show business as a terrible period. She felt she simply couldn't quit her agency as she lived in the agency dormitory at the time, and she needed her jobs to make a living. She remembers the confusion she felt when acting in dramas with people she had seen on television back in Fukuoka. Also, she was unable to understand many of the girls in the business, who acted flamboyantly towards photographers during photoshoot works and were often selfish, which gave her the impression that they were very silly. This resulted in her having a lot more boys as friends rather than girls. In order to release pressure and forget about her confusion, Ayumi would spend her free time wandering the streets of Tokyo, shopping, and dancing at clubs in the Shibuya district with her friends. She finally decided to leave show business after finding out about certain aspects that did not feel right to her. For example, many photos from some of her photo shoots were not used afterwards, and while working on television productions, not all of the footage would end up in the final product. Hamasaki decided to drop out of high school at fifteen, something she vaguely remembers by sending a fax message with the words "I quit." written on paper. The reason for quitting was because she did not want to see the people and teachers anymore, feeling conspicuous among them, as her appearance and looks were different to others' in the entertainment school. Around the time when Hamasaki dropped out of both high school and the talent agency, where her contract was soon to expire, her mother was coming to Tokyo to start a new job. Ayumi went on to live with her together in the apartment her mother rented. As peaceful days entered her life again, she would once more go back to spending long hours having fun with friends in fashionable places in Tokyo's entertainment districts.

Ayumi is also known as "Divine Ayu". Hamasaki Ayumi lived with her mother, but was primarily raised by her grandmother. She has vague recollections of her father as he left the family at around the time she was five, and she has not seen him since. She grew up in a very liberal household where she was expected to do what was right for her without her mother intervening in her affairs, since her mother was always out working to support the family. In her youth, Hamasaki started her modeling career as a model for a local bank. Her grandmother died shortly after Hamasaki started modeling. During high school, she was considered a delinquent because her dyed hair and short skirts were considered extremely unconventional in Japan at that time. She did not enjoy her time at school much and did not get along well with the teachers. Surprisingly, she found studying chemistry a very easy thing to do, but she eventually dropped it because she found that it doesn't seem necessary to make a living. Occasionally, Ayu would go from home Fukuoka to Tokyo for short periods of time, to do various modeling jobs and during her stays, she would make friends with people she met at work. After graduating from junior high school, she had her mind made up to go to a senior high school in Tokyo. She took entrance exams to Horikishi Gakuen (art/entertainers school) together with her friends, and she was the only one to fail much to the surprise of herself and the school. Posted 2/25/2007 3:57:12 PM Play Hearts No, it's not a card game. It's pretty boring at first glance, but for some reason, it is so addicting. The background music is very pretty. I really thought it would be cooler, with it being with an anime character, and it is, but in one of those boring games. It's free. I just wanted to show you this, but I'm really concerned about finding Harumonia.(It's a song. I can't find it anywhere.) Does anyone know where to find japanese songs?

Posted 2/5/2007 4:05:04 PM  It's only a temporary one. It's actually a picture of Ayumi Hamasaki(浜崎あゆみ), a JAP-Singer. A good one, too. She writes meaningful lyrics, and is a huge hit in Japan. (I got bored and did research.) Please don't ask how I got Japanese writing there. I am not sure.) |
