History Posted 12/5/2006 5:20:50 AM During an upheaval in the leadership of OZ, the Romefeller loyalist Colonel Tsuberov tried to murder Duo and the Shenlong's pilot Chang Wufei by cutting off the oxygen supply to their cell; the two were saved by Lady Une. After escaping with his nearly completed Deathscythe Hell, Duo began to salvage the necessary parts to complete his new Gundam. During this time he lived with Hilde Schbeiker. During OZ's rogue testing of the Zero System, Duo was captured by Lieutenant Trant Clark and forced to pilot the Gundam Wing Zero. Duo came under the effects of the Zero system but managed to stop himself from destroying the nearest colony. Once Trant was finished with his testing he let Duo float off into space. However Hilde was able to bring the still uncompleted Deathscythe Hell to him on time to allow Duo the chance to try and stop the maniac Trant. Duo was barely able to stop Trant from going out of control after he tried Zero's full capacity on himself. Later when the para-military group the White Fang tracked Duo down at Hilde's scrap yard he turned down their offer of being a "symbol" of the White Fang. After this incident he decided to leave the colony with his now complete Deathscythe Hell mobile suit. While traveling through space he came to the aid of Quatre Raberba Winner, Trowa Barton, and Lucrezia Noin when an OZ unit mistook them for White Fang soldiers. After being invited to Peacemillion, Duo was able to use the Deathsycthe Hell alongside the other four Gundams to face the now dominant White Fang and dwindling OZ forces. The five Gundams were successful in stopping Milliardo Peacecraft from crashing Libra into Earth. Duo played a key role in the destruction of the White Fang Battleship Libra. Duo found the Gundam Scientists and agreed to escort them to the center of Libra where they set off a chain reaction to blow up both Libra's and Peacemillion's engines. This knocked the majority of debris from Libra entering the Earth's Atmosphere. Through these actions this would end the Eve Wars at the end of After Colony 195. A year later Duo would use the Deathscythe Hell one last time to counter the misguided Mariemaia army and was able to use it disable as many MMS-01 Serpent as he could. Duo then self-destructed the Deathscythe Hell some time after the battle. (0) Comments

XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell Posted 12/5/2006 5:18:16 AM When the XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe proved to be incapable of space combat, it was destroyed and the remains were taken to OZ's Lunar Base and its pilot Duo Maxwell was captured. Once there, the five scientists that created the Gundams, who were also held prisoner, were secretly plotting to rebuild and improve the Deathscythe and XXXG-01S Shenlong Gundam. Chief among these improvements was a new, double-bladed beam scythe. It had a longer handle than the previous Deatscythe's single-bladed weapon, which gave it superior cutting power; additionally, a miniature engine was included on the head of the sycthe to provide a boost of energy when cutting through heavy armor or multiple targets. The Deathsycthe's shoulder-mounted Vulcan cannons were replaced by an active cloaking device, which resemble giant "bat wings" and can fold over the front of Deathscythe's body. With its "wings" spread, the Deathscythe Hell takes on a particularly demonic appearance, which served to amplify Duo's self-styled identity as the "God Of Death." The Deathsycthe Hell suit has access to additional boosters on the inside of the cloak for an increase of speed and maneuverability which helps increase it's effectiveness in space. When the "wings" are folded over the body they act as a form of beam deflecting armor, performing a function similar to the OZ-13MSX2 Mercurius's Planet Defensor technology. The folded armor can also form a cargo compartment, as it did when Duo transported the Gundam engineers to Peacemillion inside the suit. The Deathsycthe's Hyper Jammers have also been improved, and the new active cloaking device allows Deathscythe Hell to become invisible even to the naked eye. The head-mounted vulcan cannons and Buster shield from the original Deathsycthe have also been incorporated into the Deathscythe Hell suit. The differences to OVA version aka XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell Custom, is that the active cloak has been redesigned to give it a more bat-like appearance, the double beam scythe has been replaced with the original beam scythe weapon and the Buster Shield has been removed, which had become almost useless after the addition of the Active Cloak.
