Its been awhile since I last posted a Blog. Busy busy busy but this is going to change in 2008. I have made myself a promise that I am going to do everything possible to have a much more peaceful life, where I can appreciate my beautiful surroundings, my children and my husband, together with my elderly parents and my very elderly grandmother. I am so fortunate to still have both my parents, and my grandmother. Not many people today have that priviledge. After many emotional months, my father is much better after 3 heart attacks, a triple by-pass and time to recover. My two children are growing up fast, daughter of 9 and son of 14. Time is moving so quickly and before I know it they will be out of the house. So before that happens, I WILL spend more time with my kids and my family. I live in a beautiful little town called Rosetta, which is the "gateway" to the Kamberg. When God finished making the rest of the world he wasn't happy so he made the Kamberg. If you have never visited the Kamberg, make it one of your life's amitions. You will not be disappointed. Rosetta is situated on the R103 between Mooi River and Nottingham Road, close the the N3 in the province of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. My family and I are very priviledged to have the original homestead of Rosetta, build 100 years ago. We have 6 acres of land, of which I regularly mow 4 acres on my tractor mower. Thank you Lord for the priviledges and blessings you have afforded me.

Isn't it amazing how many people go into business, headlong without a thought about systems, admin, funds, capital or otherwise, staff. Once they up and running and the excitement over and wow we really are in business but not doing so well, then the heavy yolk makes itself known. If only the new business person had taken the time to chat to someone who could help them, even though expensive, it would have saved a lot of time. "Initially expensive ultimately priceless" is a saying that a fellow business person uses as his sub title for his Hot Air Ballooning. If only business people would think the same way. Once a business is up and running and you have staff to pay, overheads to pay, yourself to pay, there never seems to be enough cash. BUT if you had only taken the time in the beginning to plan. Thats what I do for a living. I listen, I allow business people to talk out their ideas, I'm a sounding board, but above all I offer professional and confidential counselling for Businesses and Engrepreneurs.
