I don't mean to sound so boring here, but I’m most likely going to.
It seems as if there wasn't any techonolgy we would all be screwed, right? Well, that seems very true, considering all of American life is based on technology. Cell phones are one of the top money makers in the U.S. and use is expected to raise 17% by late 2008. Television seems to be the background of everyday life. Myspace is completely crowded with addicts who can't get off. At school, work, etc., techonolgy seems to be the center of it.
I am not saying that is a bad thing, because just look at me sitting on my ass writing a blog entry that nobody will read. My ipod is on almost 20 hours a day and my families electric bill has increased every single month for the last 2 years. So why am I writing this blog?
The answer is, because I was laying on my hammock in my front yard today and realized how wonderful nature and solitude is. To have that time to organize my thoughts, relax and not worry about others around me was so great. It was just my mind, the trees, the birds and me…until the blaring of hip hop came into the neighbor. I suddenly came into the reality of the 21st century, and it was depressing. Then, my stupid cell phone rang and it was an annoying girl asking for help on her homework. Here is but one instance when technology ruined my day.
Now I am so happy to have this technology in our lives and I think sometimes we all take it for granted, but there’s just TOO much of it. Think about it….if a typical American had the choice to either watch TV or sit down and read a book, I (not a very good source) would estimate over 65% would decide to watch TV. Between myspace and exercising…myspace would be the winner of most.
I may sound very hypocritical at the moment considering I’m online rather than doing something worthwhile, but I personally love to read, watch the history channel, play my own music on the piano and have alone time in silence (no blaring rock music). I’m not following everything I just typed out, but I do value times without technology interfering with my mind.
As I sat outside in the shade (for a whole 5 minutes in peace) I thought about the 19th century life. They didn’t have the cell phones, the cars, the ipods, the TV’s, the radios or the computers. Now I, like many, would guess that these people would have absolutely nothing to do without that crap. But then, they would if they knew nothing of our technology today. They must have been way more educated and knowledgeable (obviously not in technology) than us today. They had more desire and time to read, study and write. Also they had time to think their lives out in “alone time”. Lucky ducks! Oh well….I guess I’ll go downstairs and watch American Idol and talk on my cell phone! :)
The Joy of Naps....

Naps can really be the most wonderful things in the world. I took a half hour nap today and it did wonders for me. Sure it was only 30 minutes long, but it made me feel better and more at ease. It was kind of a peace that made me totally whole again. Sure that sounds a little or maybe really cheesy, but it's true. There are lots that may agree with me on that one. So anyway, that's my little thought for the day, and because of that nap I feel whole again.

So who watches it? I sort of watch it, but it's just really sad sometimes. Like last night when the last performer of the first one, he sang really bad and he didn't even know it. He was actually metally retarded and it was really sad to watch him make a fool out of himself. But other than that, it is a very good show that seems to get worse and worse as the years go by. Anyways, I think i will try out next year for it so we'll see how that goes. Actually i changed my mind. I wont. It's not really a great way to get a singing career, but it would be a great thing to try just for fun and to meet those three people who critisize/ commpliment singers/ wanna-be singers. So that's my little thought for the day.

I like Newblog a lot! I feel much more comfortable on here than on any other blogging or myspace type site because it's not so crowded. There are a lote of members on this site, but only few are still active. So everyone on this little site is very close and freindly. It's great. Anyways, i just thought that i needed to share that with anybody who passes through my page
every so often. And you know what? I just found out something that not many people know. The word "anyways" isn't really a word. But i still use it anyways. Ha Ha Ha. Funny...i know!

So picture this:
You walk down to the candy store with a dollar your mommy gave you. You're so excited! Once you go inside to pick out some yummy treat you realize that it's all fruity, sour and gummy in there. Then you turn your head to find a sign saying NO CHOCOLATE. Wouldn't you just die?
I know I would. So now think if there was never such thing as chocolate, that the word "chocolate" didn't even exist. All of the world's favorite treats would've never existed either! So life would suck!
Oh well. There IS such thing as chocolate so im good. Im happy. Im fine. Life is a heaven on earth for me.

What would we do without music in this world? Well i think is we wouldn't be a world at all. We would all be mental cases, i myself would be a drugy alcoholic and people would always be blowin up the universe. So thank got for music. It doesn't solve all the problems, but it sure does help people find a solution for solving them. It doesn't even matter what kind of music either. Rock, country, rap, classical, hip-hop, punk, disco, etc. It's all music and it all affects somebody in some way. Personally, I would rather be burning in hell if there was no music in the world!!

So 2006 is almost over and it's exciting but still so sad. It was a great year for me in many ways, but mostly for the new people i've met (at school, work, etc). Lots of memories have came from this year and it might be hard to watch them pass so quickly, but when you think about it, memories never fade away unless you let them. Have you ever had a dream that seemed so real you were freaking out? I had a dream like that just last night and it was creepy. It was about a leader who brainwashed people into following him. For some reason unknown to me, this leader was after me and wanted to kill me. So he sent two of his followers to catch me and bring me to him, and I found that they were actually two of my really good freinds in real life. So he had brainwashed even them to capture me and send me to my death.I was just running and hiding to get away from this man and my ex-freinds. So it felt so real that I woke up all sweaty and terrified. Wow........how weird is that??

Now we all face trials every day, whether we even realize it or not. It's just something that happens. When the BIG trials hit us, that's when we freak, stress, get mad, go through anxieties and depressions, so on and so forth. Well I think we should always recognize the simple trials as much as the difficult ones, because we all go through trials for a reason. Usually that reason is to grow from the experience or something. So if we want to be the best we can be and learn from our wrong doings, notice those trials and, as hard as it is, be grateful for them. Because when you recognize a struggle you just went through, isn't it great to know you got past it all right? I sure think so. Peace out evryone and have a freakin awesome day.

I think if I were rich I would head to new york and shop forever. Then I would buy a house in Beverly Hills, buy a cabin in Utah (for the winter) and a house in London. After that I would buy all of my immediate family awesome new cars. Next I would buy a ranch somewhere and breed Western terriers and some cats then buy some horses. It would be nice to have all that wealth, but remeber "MONEY CAN"T BUY HAPPINESS". I'll just have to make do with the money I have and the things I own now. I'll be fine. After all, I don't need to be rich to have a happy life. Unfortunatley, Paris Hilton does. She's the REAL loser! Ha Ha Ha !

Perhaps you've all heard about the fires in california today. Well I live in Temecula which is about 60 miles away from the fire and the smoke has been killing my lungs. It just saddens me to know that all this suffering and four deaths of firefighters happened because someone wanted to have fun creating chaos. It is very sad, but you know what I think of when im feeling sad?
I think of:
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings

Isn't music just one of the most wonderful thing ever. I can't even be considered a thing though. It's more of a transportation to a certain place, whereever your destination is. Depending on the song, it could take you to your own little world or maybe to a place where you dance with your buddies as long as you a can handle. Just imagine not haveing music in this world. What would it be like? How the hell would we all be happy.
I honestly have to say- I don't need drugs to take me away from here. Music is all I need to keep me happy all the time. I don't know who said this quote but I like it : "Music is a drug, and i'm addicted."
