Two journalists die every week and have been for the last 10 years.
Though many are accidents, including incidents of 'friendly fire', many are MURDERED.
We have the recent deaths in Russia. An ex KGB agent turned journalist falling(!) to his death.He was investigating the murder of Anna Politkovskaya, shot while compiling evidence of Russian Government complicity in Chechen atrocities.
There is growing suspicion that the 2006 attack on a Russian school may have been a 'False Flag'. Criminals in the Russian Government organising an attack on their own people to further their interests in neighbouring countries.
In Rio, 2002, Tim Lopez, was tortured, killed and his body then set on fire, while investigating Drug and Sex rings, that included children, in the slums of the city.
No-one has been arrested for these murders.
For some, there is not even a police investigation.
Why are not members of the World Press demanding the criminals responsible be held accountable ?
World Press Freedom Day, in May, would be a great time to start.

Yesterday,I was given the sad news that an old friend had died.
Simon and I first met when I was 16.He was a couple of years older than me and showed me remarkable patience.
We spent many happy years drinking and playing football for the Plough Inn.
Though I hadnt seen him for 10 years,I still thought of him now and then.
I will miss him.

Is a criminal.
On Thursday,it transpires that the Leader of the Country,Tony Bl(ia)r was questioned by police investigating the cash for honours affair.
Bl(ia)r is the first Prime Minister to be investigated by police whilst in public office.It is reported that Bl(ia)r denied any knowledge of Peerages being offered for donations/loans to the Labour Party.
What he did do was time the police questioning to coincide with the release of the Steven's inquiry into Princess Diana's death.Thus diverting media interest away from the row that is causing considerable embaressment to himself and the Party.
While I have no axe to grind over this matter,believing that all Peerages offered by any Government is a 'Thank You' to their rich mates.It still leaves Tony Bl(ia)r isolated and deep in the shit concerning the legality of the Iraq war.
Tony Bl(ia)r began an illegal war.All the reasons he gave for going to war have proved to be false.
Why is he not being questioned for lying to the British people and the rest of the Government.

Now time is getting short and the shops are so busy that I just sigh and walk out.

So I am going to say it again.
Next year,Im going to do my Christmas shopping in January.

What a begining to the week.
For some reason,all the people turning up at the workshop appear to be 'enlightened ones.'
Yes,issues with their motorcycles have given them cause to visit.But,the points of discussion are all spiritual matters.
I should be happy that we are attracting these people-and I am.
I am also on edge as I know that there is a message for me in all this.
What the message is,I have no idea as yet.All will be revealed soon,Im sure.
What pleases me is the knowledge that I am not alone in my beliefs.

These last few weeks,Ive noticed people telling me what to do.
My mother started the trend when I began to walk and both my parents continued until I was about 18.
Then they began 'advising' me.It was refreshing to discover that there were three or four 'choices' to situations.Why was I not made aware of this before,I thought. Though I never asked them because I was so happy with their new attitude towards me.
They had begun to treat me as an adult.An equal,even.Both knew I was intelligent,kind and thoughtful.(Good looking,too).
My father,bless him,taught me to look out for vunerable people;the elderly especially.I was often told to do our neighbours shopping or mow their lawn.In winter,i was expected to clear their paths of snow.
When I started work,I noticed a huge change !
There were people who liked the sound of their own voice and shouted at people.Some even shouted at me ! Manners were noticable by their abscence.It was horrible.
I thought long and hard about what to do.I didnt want to lose my job,nor did I want to work for rude people.One day,I took my manager to one side and explained how I felt.
He listened,then he told me the difficulties he had to deal with.Absenteeism,shoddy work etc.He continued to shout at my fellow workers,but not at me.Unless I deserved it and at times I did.
Later in life,I moved into the Care field.Again I faced similar issues.Made worse by the fact I was a man in a womans job !! That was said to me often.
By my getting on with things,peoples attitude changed.I introduced the word 'teamwork' into conversation and even the owners of Homes took notice.
Everything can be sorted as long as their is Communication.
Yet,few people truly communicate.They have the belief that only they are right and everyone else is wrong.Everything is black and white.Well,the major Issues that seperate people are actually many shades of gray.
We have become conditioned not to listen.We find it easy to say NO even when we havent heard the question.We need to change.
Opening our hearts and minds is the first step.The realisation that our neighbours are not enemies but possible friends is the first step.
We would benefit from remembering that WE are not always right.We do not have ALL the answers.But how are we to learn if we do not COMMUNICATE.

My parents were my first teachers-and my best.
It is from them that I learned good manners,honesty and a sense of fair play.
The schools I attended carried on from there.Our teachers encouraged us to debate issues and to raise our voice if unsure of something.
“Try and have ALL the facts,before arguing”,I remember being told.
At 17,I joined in the fight against Racism,that sullied the UK during the late 70’s.That led me to become active in the Labour party,a year later.
I have shared platforms with people,whose ideas I bitterly opposed.In fact,the best discussions have come from the most heated arguments.Yet,we were always able to have a drink afterwards.
Discussion was always the way forward.
Because the Media in the west are somewhat lacking at the moment,I have taken it upon myself to post pictures that,otherwise would not be seen nor discussed.The photographs show the bodies of dead children.
As you can guess,the children died suddenly and violently.They are terrible sights and I have wept when sorting and uploading to my various blogs.The responses I have receieved have been uplifting.Thanks have come in for my publicising them,mostly parents who are glad they know of the atrocites.
A couple of days ago,the owner of a site,disabled my blog.
No warning.No reason.Nothing.
Other blogs on the site are as contentious(!) as mine,yet remain active.
Blogging is massive.People use them to inform and educate.To rant and rave.Moan and gossip.Nothing is sacred for the Blogger.
My own hackles have been raised when coming upon racist or sexist blogs.Ive even chuckled at very un-pc jokes,(sadly,they can be really funny).
I just move on a page.They have every right to say what they want,even when I vehemently disagree.Its their world,too and I support their right to blog about it.
So,whats going on ?
Is it because the children were from Palestine ?
Censorship is a form of Fascism.The war on terror has led to many laws being introduced that are in conflict with basic human rights.Are we walking down a path,well trodden.
By jackboots and well cut uniforms !!

The Nightmare of Farmed Organs.

We have all heard stories of desperate people selling body organs.
Usually,they are poor people from poor countries.The payment they receive buys a loved one costly medical treatment,or ensures a childs education.
Desperate measures,indeed.
When I read such a story,it both saddens and angers me.
We are living in the 21st century.We have put men on the moon.
Half our world lives in luxury,while the other half starves.
In fact,Capatilism thrives only by ripping off weaker countries and people.
It is all about choice.We could choose it to be different.
But most people are too selfish.We have become to accustomed to 'instant gratification'.
Plasma TV's,computers,cheap food,cheap air travel,free sex(!).
Cheap.Cheap.Cheap.
We get what we deserve !
And if some countries suffer because of the way our economies operate-then tough.
I dont like this attitude,but eh ?
I didnt make the world.I only try and live in it.
There are disturbing stories emerging though,that suggest not everything is choice,
In China,not known for its willingness to allow choice to its citizens,we see an abusive regime entrench itself further by controlling information via the web.
Helped by certain western companies,more interested in profit than morals,the Chinese government continues its expansionism and will be THE major player on the world stage shortly.
This new wealth comes at the expense of freedom.For those at the top-not a problem.
Even illness/death can be resolved.Not by costly payments to the poor,but by 'farming' body organs from political prisoners and dissidents.
News of China's elite using groups such as the 'Falon Gong',a peace movement of Tibet,need serious examination.
Are members of this sect,formed to promote health and gentle ways of living in a free Tibet,being used in such a barbaric way ?
We know the number of transplant operations taking place in China has increased a thousand fold.
They have all but admitted the fact that convicted murderers and rapists are being harvested.
Why not anyone who doesnt support them ?
The rumours are frightening.Not just because of a countries ability to keep its population down and imprison anyone who voices dissent,but because it could happen HERE.

I remember the 70s and 80s,when hardly a week went by without some sort of demonstration,either against Racism,Job closures or the hated Maggie Thatcher.
That all changed during the Miner's strike of 1984.
Thatcher changed Laws on a whim to deal with the Working class back then.Draconian measures were introduced in her crusade to smash the Trade union movement and begin the dismantling of the Welfare state.
Today,on the radio,I learn of a pensioner,wheelchair bound,who carried a banner telling of his eviction from his home of the last 21 years.A care home being closed by his local authority.
He and his friend/carer made their way to Downing Street,where Police moved them on,threatening to arrest them as they had no permission to protest !
The Police said they were moving them on for fear of terrorist activity.Though how an OAP in a wheelchair can be seen as a potential terrorist is beyond me.
What this makes clear for me,is that this Country no longer allows freedom of expression.
What other rights are being denied us ??
What other Rights have we lost ??

Why am I so suspicious ?
Because it reeks to hell !
Dhiren Barot,34,a Muslim(!) terrorist,who plotted to kill thousands of people in London and the USA,was given a minimum 40 years jail sentence,it was reported.
Barot planned to strike targets using Limosines packed with gas cylinders.He also proposed a 'dirty bomb' be detonated in the campaign.
The evidence against Barot,comes from a computer seized by Pakistani secret service,in India,2004.
Officers had traced Abu Talha,an al-Qaeda leader,in Lahore and after a gunfight grabbed the computer.
Barot's notes included reference to a cache of Uzi machine guns,hand pistols and sawn off shotguns.
The court was told that if the cache did exist,the police had yet to discover it.
Now,my fears around this case are that the 'detailed chapters' could be merely ramblings.Somewhat like a post in a blog.
The computer,seized by Pakistani agents who operate under a Military Dictatorship.A country that NEEDS to be seen helping in the War against Terror,in return for help retaining power.
The case keeps the war in the news.
It allows the western media to report on Muslim(!) terrorists and divide ordinary people more.
It heightens the tension in our communities and doesnt do the call for Identity cards any harm at all.
Barot,who I dont believe has harmed anyone,is guilty of what?
Thinking nasty thoughts!
I know he pleaded Guilty.Could his plea be through force,co-ercion,bribery.
His rightous anger comes from the UK supporting the USA in an ILLEGAL war against !raq.

Well,im always going to remember this Eve of All Saints day.
A month ago,a customer turned up on a bike.
It was in a terrible condition.The tyres were very low in pressure.The engine had barely any oil.There was an eletrical fault and one of the front indicators was smashed.
He asked for help with the indicator.
My friend sorted that quickly and repaired the ignition fault,too.
I put air in his tyres,topped up the oil and lubed his chain.

I rang him the next day.He cut off the call when i told him who i was.We took it on the chin,as we sometimes have to do.
He turned up today,wearing a balaclava under his helmet.With only his eyes showing he asked me for the price of a rear tyre.His was now totally bald.
I recognised him and reminded him of the £5 owed.He apologised for not turning up telling me of a crisis.
A phone call would have been appreciated.He replied he didnt have our number.
My friend told him the price.We only stock brand tyres.We dont put anything on a customers bike that we wouldnt put on our own.Safety first-tyres and brakes.Spare no expense.
He told us he could get an unbranded tyre for £4 less up the road.Good Luck mate.He handed over the Fiver and left.

I love that attitude,especially in greedy,cold London.Thats why I am there,helping him create a Beacon of Light,if you will.

I returned and with my mate cleaned it up.It wasnt easy and im sure we will have to do more tomorrow.
Now,im writing this for the future,when i can remember and laugh about it.

Well,im always going to remember this Eve of All Saints day.
A month ago,a customer turned up on a bike.
It was in a terrible condition.The tyres were very low in pressure.The engine had barely any oil.There was an eletrical fault and one of the front indicators was smashed.
He asked for help with the indicator.

The organisation said fundamental rights such as free speech faced graver threats than ever before.
The campaign coincides with the start of a week-long UN-organised conference that will debate the future of the net.

Mr Ballinger said the case of Iranian blogger Kianoosh Sanjari was just one example of the dangers that some online writers can face. Mr Sanjari was arrested in early October following his blogging about conflicts between the Iranian police and the supporters of Shia cleric Ayatollah Boroujerdi.
Amnesty wanted bloggers to publicise cases such as this, said Mr Ballinger, and to declare their backing for the right to free speech online.
The human rights group is also taking its campaign to the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) - a group set up by the UN to act as a debating body for national net policies. The first big meeting of the IGF takes place in Athens from 30 October to 2 November.
"The Internet Governance Forum needs to know that the online community is concerned about free expression online and willing to stand up for it," said Mr Ballinger.
Many governments were using technology to suppress the free flow of information among their citizens, said Mr Ballinger.
"People have been locked up just for expressing their views in an email or a website," he said. "Sites and blogs have been shut down and firewalls built to prevent access to information."
Hi-tech firms such as Yahoo and Google have been criticised for the help they have given to nations such as China which works hard to monitor online discussion.

Yet again,someone released early from prison goes on to commit more criminal acts.
And more murders !
Mark Goldsmith,31,was jailed in 2001 for killing his lover.
He battered her to death,after the married woman refused to leave her husband for him.
For this murder he was given 7 years in jail !?
The authorities then allowed Goldsmith out on licence after serving only 4 years !
He befriended a woman and her family,in the Midlands.
Forming a relationship with the eldest daughter,who had just turned 16.
The teenager told friends,that Goldsmith became more possessive and jealous and she decided to end the relationship.
Goldsmith made phone calls and sent text messages demanding to see her.
He even told her that he had a brain tumour,in the hope of sympathy.
In March,he entered the house and while the family slept,he doused the ground floor with petrol and started a fire.
The teenager,her two brothers and sister died in the fire !!
The mother was working that night at a care home.
Am I alone in thinking that something is terribly wrong with our legal system ?
How can someone commit murder,go to jail then be out to kill again 5 years later ?

Just when i thought it couldnt get any worse.
A Rotherham woman was refused the morning after pill by her local chemist.
She was told that the pharmacist objected to selling them on 'religious grounds'.
The pharmacist in question relayed his descision via his assistant.
The woman then saw her GP and obtained it.
A spokesperson for Lloyds,the chemist supported the pharmacist,saying:
"If the pill is contrary to a pharmacist's personal,religious or moral beliefs they are within their rights not to supply it".
In my opinion,the pharmacist was wrong.
If the mans beliefs were truly that strong,then he should have just asked the assistant to deal with the customer.
Or,at least,have the professionalism and courtesy to explain his reasons himself.
Why Lloyds are supporting the pharmacist is most strange too.
One of their employee's refused to sell THEIR product.
How does that work ?
Lloyds are in business to make a profit.
They make their money by stocking their shops with goods and selling them on-at a profit !
Lloyds should have taken action against the pharmacist and apologised to the customer.

Connell,who was already banned from the road for having two drink/drive convictions,decided to ride his Quad bike.
Whilst drunk !
He placed a Three year old girl on the petrol tank and drove off !
Then smashed straight into the front of a car.
The little girl was killed in the crash !
The Judge told Connell he had shown "reckless and criminal stupidity".
The charge against Stephen Connell could have meant a 14 year prison sentence.

God,it is so good to get out of London,even for a couple of days.
I spent the weekend in Surrey.
Just resting and it felt so good.
i rode a yamaha fazer 1000 down there and boy was i impressed !
i have lots of experience with the fazer 600.
an easy bike to ride,good handling with great brakes.
but bland.
it does everything that it says on the packet.
i thought the 1000 would be the same.
how wrong was 1.
she pulls like a train and being the big brute she is
you have to grab it by the scruff of the neck to ride.
my kind of riding yahoo.
i intend to get out of the city on a bike every weekend.
even if it is raining lol

About seven o'clock this evening,I was just about to lock up the workshop when there was a phone call.
One of our female customers-and friend-phoned to say she had been in an accident with a car driver,in Heath road,North London.
Both she and the the bike were ok,though her clutch lever had broken.
My friend,who lives up that way,packed a bag of tools and off he went to replace the lever.
I phoned the lady to tell her help was on the way.She sounded calm,told me that she had no injury and that all was well.
She was in slow moving traffic when the car behind hit her.
Her words were that it was just a nudge but she overbalanced and hit the deck.
The driver got out,picked the bike up and moved it to the side of the road .
He then got in his car and drove off !
My friend was too shocked to take the number and he soon disappeared.
She did recognise the car as a silver renault espace.

Ive just come back from a weekend in Surrey.

Very few car drivers drive the Motorway correctly.
In fact,they make it bloody DANGEROUS.
How many people remember to 'keep left unless overtaking' ?
So many drivers just sit in the middle lane blind,or not caring,of the hazards this causes faster flowing traffic.
Riding,according to the law,I have to move over TWO lanes to safely overtake a car that insists on not moving for their fellow road users.
Then,to ride,according to the law,I have to move over another TWO lanes.
What madness is that !
I could always Undertake the car.It is against the law and dangerous,but less dangerous,in my mind,than moving across FOUR lanes of traffic.
I have even witnessed Police cars using the Middle lane only !
If everyone was to stick to Lane Discipline there would be less accidents.
The traffic would flow better.
Motorway use may become a pleasure.

We have been so busy this week.
This is the time of year when we usually go quiet.Autumn usually takes the fair weather riders off the road,but for some reason we are busier than ever.
Im noticing that the customers we are picking up ride bikes that have service records but dont appear to have had the work done !
A young woman,riding a fazer 600,had one of the worst air filters ive seen in a couple of years.Yet,she told me that the bike was serviced in May.
Hmmm.
This summer,we have nearly succeeded in getting rid of our 'bad' customers.Idiots who run their bikes into the ground+then demand we work miracles.
We have worked hard,not just with the motorbikes,but also their owners.The large majority of our customers have now become friends and repairing their bikes is hardly ever a chore.
We get little passing trade-for that i am thankful.
In London,it usually means more idiots.
All is well !

Ive just heard the news and I dont believe it.
Tony Bl(ia)r always had the intention of resigning from politics when he turned 50.
Well,that was 3 years ago now??
Tony Bl(ia)r has discovered,in himself,what few other people know about themselves.
A Lust for power.
Bl(ia)r was swept to power on a wave of optimism.
Remember Cool Brittania ?
He seemed so fresh after years of Tory sleaze.
The country even appeared to like him as a person.
So what went wrong ?
Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have not helped.
Though,there is little doubt that any Prime Minister would have been unable to resist the USA demands after 9/11.
Saying that,the reasons for the Iraq war have proven false,
and,as such,is an ILLEGAL war.
We are still there !

Im sure we have all heard the story today of Jason Hope.
Hope was imprisoned for 5 years after being found guilty of robbery.He threatened his victims with a knife then stole their money to feed his drug habit.
He was moved to Sudbury Open Prison,where,one day,he decided to leave and walked out !
Jason Hope then stayed at his brother's home in Leicester while the police were unable to find him.
Three weeks after he escaped Hope attacked a 13 year old child.
Armed with a knife,he stole cash and a mobile phone.Then,he sexually assaulted the child.
Judge Christopher Metcalf,imposed a Life sentence at Leicester Crown Court.
Then he announced that Jason Hope could be considered for Parole in 4 years !?
Judge Metcalf added that it would be upto the Parole board to release him when he was considered safe.
Judging on past experiences expect Jason to be attacking people in 2010.

Jason Hope then stayed at his brother's home in Leicester while the police were unable to find him.
Three weeks after he escaped Hope attacked a 13 year old child.
Armed with a knife,he stole cash and a mobile phone.Then,he sexually assaulted the child.
Judge Christopher Metcalf,imposed a Life sentence at Leicester Crown Court.
Then he announced that Jason Hope could be considered for Parole in 4 years !?
Judge Metcalf added that it would be upto the Parole board to release him when he was considered safe.
Judging on past experiences expect Jason to be attacking people in 2010.

I have supported the Labour Party for nearly 30 years.
In 1977, I joined the party as a member of the Labour Party Young Socialists.
I fought the NF alongside the Anti-Nazi League and Rock against Racism.
Then Maggie Thatcher was the enemy.
After seeing the closure of my town and unemployment rates as high as 30%,I became a supporter of the Militant Tendency.
The Miner's strike of 84.
I was an active supporter of the Miners,indeed any worker in struggle.
When the Miner's lost.The whole of the working class lost.
For more than a generation.
I was kicked out of the party during the last of the witch-hunts.My role as an Anti-Poll Tax campaigner 'being the last straw.'
The Liberal middle class careerist took control.
Though not allowed to be a member of the Labour Party I still support them.Urging people to vote Labour at the elections.
How could I ever cease to support the Political Party of the Working class in the UK ??

Im reading about David Morgan,43,who stabbed 17 women in a Birmingham shop in 1994.
While awaiting trial,he also attacked a hospital nurse in 1995.
At his trial,in 96,he was found guilty and given 10 Life sentences.
The Judge told him "You were an evil,brutal and remorseless force,inflicting pain and injury.
"You must be detained until you cease to be a risk.If that time never comes,so be it."
Today,David Morgan,walks the streets of Stafford town centre,on day release from local St George's Hospital.
Im so glad that the treatment he has been receiving has worked.
My congratulations to his Psychiatrists,Doctors and Nurses,who believe he is cured of the depression,schizophrenia and psychotic disorder,from which he was suffering.
My only worry is that a former psychiarist ruled that Morgan was not a threat to anyone two months BEFORE he committed the knife attacks in Birmingham.
Lets hope they have got it right this time !

Again,the UK's Legal system lets down the people by allowing another Murderer to escape with no punishment !
Antonio Lopez,22,was driving his car in Bournemouth,Dorset,last December,when he hit a 58 year old man.
He then drove away from the scene and reported his car stolen !!
For the death of the man and for wasting police time,Bournemouth Crown Court,imposed a 200 hour community service order !!?
Lopez had a slightly harsher penalty-9 points on his licence-for failing to stop or report an accident !!?

I have probably Hated Siabreen for longer than I Loved her.
Yet,today,I remembered instances of Love.
(I would like to be able to think of her that way,all the time.)
Siabreen was a kind,gentle soul,who would do anything for anybody.
She was very supportive to her brother,Adam,when he had a yeast problem following his divorce from his first wife.
Even though,Adam thought that Siabreen was an idiot,refusing to call her by her new name and generally abusing her when he was drunk.
Siabreen and I,allowed him to stay in our house in Welshpool,while he dried out.
Oh the times I had to bite my tongue,when he reared on her!
When Alison became pregnant,Siabreen got on a plane and put her life on hold,so she could support her sister.
Where were you,Alison,when Siabreen and I suffered several miscarriages ?
Oh yes.Too busy playing the Princess in New York with your in-laws!
Lois-only you know the depths of support Siabreen had for the family.
I remember her weeping many times when you had breast cancer.The letters and phone calls that went on long into the night.
She loved you greatly.
Marion,the mother she worshipped.
Even returning to London to support you in your retirement.
What memories did Siabreen have of you and her childhood years?
