Random thoughts of life: One item of Poetry....for now Posted 3/12/2008 9:56:46 PM Unbidden Like shadows it creeps upon the heart, not knowing from where they start. The mind searches for the reason of the feel, its cold grasping clutch like steel. A dread deep inside has begun to grow, what is it that makes this feeling so. Is it the cemetary at the end of the lane, is it sorrow for innocent ones slain. Could it be darkening embers in a lovers eyes, or the wilt of a rose as its beauty dies. No reasons can you readily attribute, but this deeping fear you can not refute. The cold within your veins flows like ice, you shiver and tremble and try to think warm and nice. To no avail you attempt to lose this feel, what makes this terror appear so solid and real. Voices you hear but no one is around, it comes from every direction this whispering sound. With echos that bounce and reverberate, a wish for silence and the dark to dissapate. Your heart thumps and you start to scream, upright you sit to discover it but an unwanted dream. by EB (0) Comments

Spamers Beware!! Posted 3/12/2008 5:31:32 PM The only spam I care for is the kind you get in a can, and I rarely have that! So to those who bring spam..... if you dont have cheese and crackers to go with it,I dont want it! Respect goes a long way AND goes both ways, If you dont give it, you will most likely not get it. So basicly.... I respect your right to advertise and try to get buisness, but NOT here! There are those here that would like to be able be somewhere that we can say our piece and not be jabbed by off the wall unrelated (bleep)(bleep). My first Work posted......more to follow! Posted 3/12/2008 4:16:39 PM Self-Creation People pass by with their nice cars and, commercials push products with the premise that it will make your life better, or people preach to you about giving yourself to a higher power. How? You wonder, can I be like that? Where can I get that kind of life? How can I feel that peaceful in life? Well I guess if we had the answer to those questions, we would not be asking those questions! However I do think that for the most part we can alleviate some of the desire we hold for what others have by simply telling ourselves ….. Hey, I can do that or have that too! To just say it isn’t the key to obtaining what we want now is it? If it were really that simple we wouldn’t have to say we wanted it now would we! No, no! There’s a lot more to it than that, but saying it is a start! There are many factors involved in what a person accomplishes in his or her life. Who they are! Where they have been! What they have done! All of this plays a part in what makes the sum of what you see, but, it is by no means the total of what is needed to become that total as well! What do you want in life? What are your desires and ambitions? What are you willing to do to get it? When you know these things then the rest is a matter of creating the self you want to be. Self-Creation, Is the process of becoming what and who you desire to be! Some people live their whole life looking at others and what they have, never reaching out for themselves or even thinking that they too…. Can have that or even just be happy! All things have a starting point! And to find that starting point one must reach within, deep within the body of self! Reach inside and look at the heart of desire and see if it is worth what it may cost to get …. Or see if it is even really worth wanting! Maybe there is something more worth looking at, like what you need to do to feel better about who you are, what you already have! Realize that you already possess the foundation for what you desire, You just have to learn how to use it! The core of a person determines how far that person can go, what they can do, and how they are going to get there! If you believe in yourself enough to believe you can do anything you put your mind to …… you have a strong core! Just be mindful that because you have a strong core, does not mean you will just sail on into happiness! It means you have a good chance of succeeding in your ambitions! IF…you stick with it and don’t give up! Along with the core of a person is combined what many refer to as creative visualization! This is a key part in any undertaking! If you can not see in your mind what you want to accomplish, how then can you make it a reality? You have to be able to see the outcome of the efforts, before the efforts themselves are worthwhile. When a person begins to see their goals, they then start to feel them as well. We all know that when you feel something that is good, we want to hang onto it for as long as we can get the feeling to last. So in essence …. When you feel your goal, and you see your goal …… what is left to accomplish? Making it real!! You can see it and feel it, now make it real!! Make it a reality by holding onto those visions! Make it real by holding onto those feelings! Make it real through your desires and your self-creating abilities. Through your visions of what you want your life to be, you can make things happen! You can create happiness, comfort, home, or family! Most importantly though, you create SELF!! When you have the self you want to be, the rest will follow! Good luck!
