I like this song...it reminds me of when my momma n nem was having card parties and they would yell the words to this song out...and then give each otha "five" (a hand slap) on a part that really hit home to them. (0) Comments

Cartoons/Comics: The Boondocks...(on television)

This weeks episode was about Martin Luther King. It was pretty good if i should say so myself. I loved the fact that Riley (lil brother) thought that Martin Luther King, Jr. was Morgan Freeman King, Jr. When Riley asked him who was he and what did he do, then when about callin him Morgan Freeman man...i thought i would just die laff'n. Then when they told the story about grandad prank callin rosa parks until the day she died..had me roll'n. Grandad said Rosa stole his thunder (because he was sitting on the bus next to her and didnt give up his seat also, but the only recognized Rosa). And Rutkus throw'n those bricks at MLK because he was for Jim Crow and againt Martin..then rutkus called MLK a march'n son of a biotch.....hahahahaha...another funny Boondocks show. (0) Comments

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: Yahoo...

Everyday I check with yahoo to see what is getting the most hits on a search engine. On January 15th it was Queen Latifah...I guess her new movies is doing pretty good, so people wanted to see what else she is doing..I dunno. Yesterday I look, January 16th (MLK Holiday) and I notice that ML King had the most hits for the day..ALL DAY! I was kinda amazed. I was wondering what other information could people had been looking up about MLK. Why on his Holiday did he get so many search hits??? Isnt his b-day actually on January 15?? His his b-day a floating holiday (around about he day of birth??) I dunno...just a lot of questions that came to my head when I saw he had the most searches for yesterday. (0) Comments

PalTalk - Ebony-40 Plus room: Paltalk

Paltalk.com I usta frequent Mplayer.com a while back, but i think that went away....I came across Paltalk close to when Mplayer shut down. But it wasnt like mplayer so I didnt visit that site much. I returned back to Paltalk towards the end of 2005. I came across a group called Ebony-40plus Oldies but Goodies R&B...Yes it was a music room. No voice unless you are an admin. The group I met was very nice, they play nice music and they do internet dancing (i still dont get that, but i hear its a popular and fun thing to do). I'll come back to Paltalk later, because I do have some stories to tell, but i dont feel like typing right now. (2) Comments

The Hosts of Shopping channels: What was she doing?

While drinking brown juice (Hennesy and Gran Manier )I was watching the shopping channel (which one I dont know, but all I had to ask was "What was the lady doing on the shopping channel?" She was selling a vacuum, but I couldnt hear her selling the product because the dayum vacuum was louder than she was. What was that all about. Then the next silly thing she did was ask the man on the show to help her...why??? why??? he was trying to commintate while she was vacuuming up water around a sink..(still couldnt hear him or her). How much do they get paid to do foolishness?? I just wondered. I'ma try to watch it again..but not right now they kinda burned me out with their stoopidity. (0) Comments
