Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad predicted on Monday that Muslims would uproot "satanic powers" and repeated his controversial belief that Israel will soon disappear, the Mehr news agency reported.
"I must announce that the Zionist regime (Israel), with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder, invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the geographical scene," he said.
"Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United States has come and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power and wealth has started."
Do you really think that diplomacy is the best answer, when you have a man making these claims and researching Nuclear Power?
Do you think we should let them have nuclear weapons when the president of Iran, makes comments like this openly?
Do you Think Obama will do what it takes to prevent a nuclear holocaust on Israel?
If I was a gambling man, I would gamble that massive intelligences failures are rare... Like the Intel that suggested Iraq had WMDs. That incorrect assessment is an example of a massive intelligence failure. New Intel about Iran (Not Iraq) is surfacing on a daily basis.
The president of Iran is quoted saying...
"They say it is not possible to have a world without the United States and Zionism [Pro Israel]. But you know that this is a possible goal and slogan... Our dear Imam said that the occupying regime must be wiped off the map and this was a very wise statement...[It] would be a defeat and whoever accepts the legitimacy of this regime [Israel] has in fact, signed the defeat of the Islamic world. Our dear Imam targeted the heart of the world oppressor in his struggle, meaning the occupying regime. I have no doubt that the new wave that has started in Palestine, and we witness it in the Islamic world too, will eliminate this disgraceful stain from the Islamic world."
New US and European Intel reports released today had this to say about the nuclear programs of Iran.
"The nine-page report accused the Iranians of a willful lack of cooperation, particularly in answering allegations that its nuclear program may be pointed less at energy generation than at military use.
Part of the agency's case hinges on 18 documents listed in the report and presented to Iran that, according to Western intelligence agencies, indicate the Iranians have ventured into explosives, uranium processing and a missile warhead design — activities that ordinarily would be associated with constructing nuclear weapons." Whole Article
Now Americans have a new difficult question to face, especially during this next presidential election.
In hindsight, if we knew before that Iraq was without WMDs, we might have avoided that war before it started. The question becomes how well should we trust our Intel this time, the same Intel agencies from before. (hopefully new and improved) One thing is for sure, we need to know what Iran is doing, and at the very least expect, weapons inspectors to have full access to the research facilities in Iran, producing enriched uranium. (Which is being denied by Iran)
It is hard to imagine Obama, attacking Iran preemptively no matter what the Intel he receives, he seems convinced that diplomacy is the only method. Yet that is a gamble, one that puts at risk an entire nation of Israel and possibly the US and her allies. McCain also seems fairly determined to use diplomacy, but if Intel was overwhelming he would be more likely to strike preemptively as so would Hillary as well, but not as likely as McCain. They are too afraid of becoming the next "Bush in history" If you are voting for Obama, I hope it isn't solely because you want a "Diplomacy only Strategy". To me, this issue maybe the most important issue this presidential election, because in the balance lies millions of potential causalities and a new nuclear power state of Iran. Yes I care about the economy, gas prices, and access to health care. But they are a shadow of importance compared to the possible outcomes of a weaponized nuclear power state of Iran.
How do you want to learn that Iran was/is a danger to world peace and security? Before he has a chance to do his will or after? There are no guarantees. I would rather have another Iraq (handled differently) then have another Holocaust. One that would make Hitler look like a joke...
Believe it or not, I have been working away at a stand up routine. I don't know how it will look on paper, so let me give this a shot.
You've heard of the Dyson vacuum cleaner right? These vacuums were invented by this prick who thought the average vacuum cleaner wasn't enough. I guess I can't blame the guy, who hasn't spent five minuets on the same spot on a carpet in attempts to pick up a damn stubborn fuzzy that just refuses to let go. So you go down to pick it up by hand and it just comes right up. So Dyson thought to himself, I can do this better, so he creates the cyclone vacuum cleaner. What a novel idea, I remember when his first commercials' started to come out. He boasted an amazing hurricane 3 force winds of suction that never got lost over use. For most people hurricane force 3 winds would be enough, we started out with 6 cyclones, then he went to 8, 10, and now a 12 cyclone vacuum cleaner, which boasts a suction power of hurricane force 5 winds. Can you imagine that, what the hell are people vacuuming?
You never hear about these force 5 winds ripping apart carpets, makes you think if you live in an area under high risk for hurricanes, just wrap your house in a carpet, they can take it, they have too. Otherwise, everyone would be suing Dyson for carpet damage while he would have to file for bankruptcy and going out of business. Come to think of it, maybe he does get sued every now and then, is that why he thinks its ok to charge $600 plus for one of those damn things?
My dogs always go nuts when we turn on our regular old fashion vacuum cleaner. They go after the thing like a fat boy attacks a cup cake. But that is just a regular vacuum cleaner... the 12 cyclone bag less vacuum cleaner has hurricane force 5 winds. Winds that fast can lunch 2x4s through brick walls, so what the hell would happen if my little Shih Tzu attacked this vacuum cleaner. You have to assume that dogs all over the country are getting sucked right through the damn thing.
"Whoops, there goes Frufru... Damn this vacuum cleaner sucks up everything... thats the third dog this month. But hey, the cleaner still sucks like it was brand new."
Yet that wouldn't be enough to convince you how dangerous this cleaner is.
Who hasn't ever wondered what hurricane force 5 winds felt like? You pull out your little tube extension, and while you are vacuuming the cob webs around the edges of your house, you're going to get curious. Now you think you know what the safe distance is to hold the extension away from your face. But you've never dealt with a Dyson vacuum cleaner before so you are going to underestimate its power. Next thing you know, you're getting the hickey of your life. Hickeys are kind of funny, but when you get one from a Dyson vacuum cleaner, there is nothing to laugh about. You can't pull the damn thing off. You don't seriously think you can tear off hurricane force 5 suction do you? NO way! You watch as the bag less vacuum container fills up quickly with your own blood. Your only hope left is to get the demon unplugged and cut the power off completely from this real dirt devil. You get half way to the outlet, but your losing blood so fast, everything starts to get dark. Now you're in real trouble... if you don't make it, your family is going to have one hell of a hard time explaining what to put down on your death certificate.
So next time you're handling one of these beasts, just be real careful around small pets and don't attempt a hickey with this thing without a buddy around to save you, and while your at it, keep a bag of donated blood around of the same blood type just in case you need a transfusion. You have been warned!
Now that isn't enough for me...
On my plane trip back home from Florida, I made another novel observation... While sitting on the plane, I decided to check out the emergency safety card. You know that little booklet they have in front of every seat pocket. It always amusing me how the people drawn in these booklets always look real calm and serene.
Yet no one I know would look like that when the plane is making a nose dive. Yet even though I feel the art is flawed, I couldn't believe what I saw at the bottom of this card. Can you believe that this American Airlines safety card was copyrighted? Who the hell is plagiarizing the safety cards on these planes. Are people from Delta Airlines sneaking on board thinking...
"Hey this plane is a lot like ours... we'll just copy there emergency card and save ourselves the trouble..."
Boy are they in for a surprise...
"Oh thats a good idea, put the flotation device underneath the seat, make sure to write that one down Ed... Oh look here is another great idea... Oh Shit!"
"What is it?"
"They fucking copyrighted this bitch! Damn! Now we are going to have to come up with our own card."
I think we are going to far and out of our way to copyright crap.
I have these hacking programs that generate product keys so I can get copies of copyrighted programs without paying the license fee. So I downloaded this program designed by hackers to bypass the copyright on other programs, but can you believe that the hacker program was copyrighted. What assholes... I mean I feel bad enough hacking a program as it is, but these aholes are not only making the programs to do it, but they are copyrighting them to protect their own programs. WTF?
___________________________
Since I went on a rant about copyrighting... you can go ahead and share this with other people... I can always make new jokes. Just let me know what you think. I don't know if this works as well as when I do it in front of a crowd, when I did this in front of a small group they seemed to laugh away. I just don't know if the right intonations carry over.... and proper timing gets through.
I would presume that most of you know who Rush Limbaugh is... but do you know what Operation Chaos is? Allow me to fill you in, just in case you don't know what I'm talking about.
"Operation Chaos" is an evil genius plan that was concocted by Rush Limbaugh, I heard the first admission from Rush Limbaugh when he explained his idea to the public for the first time right before the Ohio Primaries. His plan was to encourage Republicans, or unregistered voters, to register into the democratic primaries and vote for Hillary Rodem Clinton.
My reaction was shock. What in the hell are you thinking Rush, why would anyone ever want to vote for her? The thought made me cringe. What was the point? Well the point was explained by Rush himself, right after he first announced it. The goal was to keep both running mates (Obama & Clinton) running against each other for as long as possible. Their battle would hurt the democratic party. And it is working! It is working so well, I can't believe it. The longer these two candidates hanker it out the more damage the party suffers. The party is at risk of falling apart...
Contributers are threating to stop donating to the Democratic National Committee, Outrage strengthens over the Florida and Michigan primary votes scandal, and how amazing it is to witness the fly by media turning against its own (AKA Hilliary). Pelosi is getting her ass chewed out by supporters over the ludicrous existence of the Super Delegate. It is sooo like a liberal to feel like they know best, and what do I mean by that. A super delegate gets to say screw you American voter, I can choose who ever the hell I want for the nomination. It gives unequal power to a select few who get way more power then the average American. Remember how pissy the Dems got in 2000 when Bush won the electorate vote, but lost the popular vote? They were full of bull, because if they really believed that was wrong, then why have super delegates that exist with the power to override the popular vote when ever they want? Because they only care about winning. The rules are always out to get them, Republicans can never win on purpose, Republicans had to of cheated some how. It is always voter fraud this or voter fraud that, complete bull ladies and gentleman.
Now let us predict what would happen to the demographics of the average democratic voter after the super delegates pick Hillary over Obama after he wins the popular vote... Horrifying thought isn't it? If the super delegates pick Hillary (which I don't think they will). That would be a huge slap to the face of the 90% of black voters who support the Democratic party.
Now do you think Hillary will do what is best for the party and pull out. Hell no... her whole life has been dedicated to this one chance. She put up with every bimbo Bill brought home, suffered all that humiliation, and kissed Democratic ass since Alabama. She feels like she is obligated to this nomination. It is her birthright. She won't do what is best for her party. You can take that to the bank and cash it.
Now she really doesn't have a fat chance in hell of winning. Why? Because the fly by media has abandoned her, and all the protection she used to get from the far left media is gone. Why just look at how they are reacting to her story about her trip to Bosnia. She claimed she had to doge bullets from snipers, but in reality there were no snipers or any danger at all. The video shows the welcoming party, where she hugs and kisses a little girl... Then she retardedly states later that she is human and in the first time in 12 years she "misspoke". Wow! Really, your first time, how about the other three times you made the claim about being shot at in Bosnia. (What an active Imagination you have) Or how you were named after, or all the other lies the informed public of the political right has known about you for decades. You are a lying manipulating bitch. Now that is a real purposeful lie, and why did she get away with them all, because she knew the media would protect her.
She was right until she snubbed Katie Couric of CBS news. By not attending Katie's first big debate Katie could of had. If Hillary would have just accepted the invitation, she might have still enjoyed the cover up from the media for even longer. Well let me end my rant there, and talk about the ethics of "Operation Chaos".
"Operation Chaos" ETHICS:
I'm not really a fan of the ethics behind operation chaos, one I never thought it would work, I really didn't. Now that it has, I can appreciate the results, but it is right? To be fair Hillary and Obama both are trying to get republicans to vote for them. Legally, there is nothing wrong with what Rush is doing. Yet this legal method of voter sabotage is sick in my opinion. It sets a precedent of more dirty tricks that will be used in the future by both parties. I like to win, but I like to win fairly. Yet politics isn't a game, it is serious business. I can not condone what Rush has been advocating, but at the same time, I am impressed with how well it has worked. It makes Hillary look like a pawn of Evil Rush. The Dems will see any of her victories due to a result of "Operation Chaos". So she may get some more delegates, but it will look shallow. This is wrong. I don't know how anyone can rationalize this plan.
Watch this video, it will show you how everything you thought you knew about Autism is wrong! Watch the whole thing, what happens in this video is real, and what may seem like an intended freak show is actually one of the most powerful arguments I have ever seen for Autism!
This person is really autistic. Yet I will let her words speak for themselves. My sister is autistic, but this really surprised me. I am practically speechless. This person is named Amanda Baggs, and is really Autistic, she stopped talking at the age 23. Yet today, she can type faster then me, and through the keyboard speaks to us in our own language. She explains what a person with Autism is like with the mind on the inside.
Now Brits ban 'mum' and 'dad' New rules demand sensitivity for 'gays'
Only months after a plan generated by California's legislature created a ban on the use of "mom" and "dad" in public schools, the Brits have announced a similar move, with orders for teachers to be more sensitive to homosexuality and not use terms like "mum and dad."
According to a report in the Mail online, a guidance plan has been released to tackle "anti-gay bullying" in schools in Britain. Written by the homosexual activist group Stonewall and announced by government Schools Secretary Ed Balls, the plan tells teachers not to make assumptions about a "mum and dad," perhaps instead referring to "parents."
And it directs teachers to introduce to students as young as age four the idea of same-sex couples in order to battle "homophobic" attitudes.
The California plan, which now is being targeted by an initiative effort that aims to take the issue to voters to have them overturn it, mandates a positive – and no other – portrayal of bisexuals, homosexuals, transgenders and others choosing alternative sexual lifestyles in public schools.
I highly doubt God hates any one. His love is for everyone. What else would you expect from God. He maybe a just God that wants us to do the right thing, and this pamphlet is most likely far from the right thing.
60 MINUTES: SADDAM INTERROGATOR: FORMER DICTATOR FAKED WMDs TO PREVENT IRAN INVASION... (CBS) Saddam Hussein initially didn't think the U.S. would invade Iraq to destroy weapons of mass destruction, so he kept the fact that he had none a secret to prevent an Iranian invasion he believed could happen. The Iraqi dictator revealed this thinking to George Piro, the FBI agent assigned to interrogate him after his capture.
Piro, in his first television interview, relays this and other revelations to 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley this Sunday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
Piro spent almost seven months debriefing Saddam in a plan based on winning his confidence by convincing him that Piro was an important envoy who answered to President Bush. This and being Saddam's sole provider of items like writing materials and toiletries made the toppled Iraqi president open up to Piro, a Lebanese-American and one of the few FBI agents who spoke Arabic.
"He told me he initially miscalculated... President Bush’s intentions. He thought the United States would retaliate with the same type of attack as we did in 1998...a four-day aerial attack," says Piro. "He survived that one and he was willing to accept that type of attack." "He didn't believe the U.S. would invade?" asks Pelley, "No, not initially," answers Piro.
Once the invasion was certain, says Piro, Saddam asked his generals if they could hold the invaders for two weeks. "And at that point, it would go into what he called the secret war," Piro tells Pelley. But Piro isn’t convinced that the insurgency was Saddam's plan. "Well, he would like to take credit for the insurgency," says Piro.
Saddam still wouldn't admit he had no weapons of mass destruction, even when it was obvious there would be military action against him because of the perception he did. Because, says Piro, "For him, it was critical that he was seen as still the strong, defiant Saddam. He thought that [faking having the weapons] would prevent the Iranians from reinvading Iraq," he tells Pelley.
He also intended and had the wherewithal to restart the weapons program. "Saddam] still had the engineers. The folks that he needed to reconstitute his program are still there," says Piro. "He wanted to pursue all of WMD…to reconstitute his entire WMD program." This included chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, Piro says.
Saddam bragged that he changed his routine and security to elude capture. "What he wanted to really illustrate is…how he was able to outsmart us," says Piro. "He told me he changed…the way he traveled. He got rid of his normal vehicles. He got rid of the protective detail that he traveled with, really just to change his signature."
It took nine months to finally capture Saddam, but U.S. calculations on where he might be early on turned out to be accurate. Saddam was at Dora Farms early in the war when the known presidential site was targeted with tons of bombs and many missiles. "He said it in a kind of a bragging fashion that he was there, but that we missed him. He wasn't bothered by the fact that he was there," Piro tells Pelley.
I have a lot to say on this issue, and I mean a lot. Although I have decided to post my initial blog on myspace instead of newblog for now.
I wrote this blog months ago, and have just decided to post in on a public forum for the first time. Don't know how people will respond. It is a theoretical stance that I have thought very long and hard about.
'I'm a human pet': The Goth teenager whose fiance walks her around on a dog lead By CHRIS BROOKE
Given that she describes herself as a human pet – and is happy to walk around on a lead – Tasha Maltby is used to odd looks and even odder remarks.
But nothing had prepared her for the reaction of the bus driver who allegedly told the self-styled Goth and her boyfriend: "We don't let freaks and dogs like you on."
Miss Maltby and her fiance Dani Graves were so angered they have complained to the bus company of being "victimised".
Australian-born actor Heath Ledger was found dead today in a Manhattan apartment, according to the New York Police Department. The 28-year-old, who won an Academy Award for his performance in the controversial film "Brokeback Mountain," had an appointment for a massage at the apartment, according to an NYPD spokesman. The housekeeper went to inform him the masseuse had arrived and found him unconscious at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time, the New York Times reported.
After shaking him and getting no response, they called authorities.
Ledger appears as the Joker in the upcoming Batman film "The Dark Knight," expected to be a blockbuster this summer. He also had starring roles in "A Knight's Tale" and "The Patriot," with Mel Gibson.
Well its that time again. Tomorrow, I start College up for the next semester. I'm as anxious as ever, but at the same time very much hopeful.
For one, my blogging addiction has curved down substantially, which will help my odds at doing better at school. At the same time I feel slight regret, because I just had this long break and still didn't take advantage of it blogging.
I hope the urge to blog isn't correlated with large amount of school work. If it is then I will be popping by when I most likely shouldn't. Although if I do pop by it could mean that I have enough spare time to do so. So don't jump to conclusions.
Ethical storm as scientist becomes first man to clone HIMSELF
By FIONA MACRAE - More by this author » Last updated at 15:25pm on 18th January 2008 A scientist has achieved a world first... by cloning himself.
In a breakthrough certain to provoke an ethical furore, Samuel Wood created embryo copies of himself by placing his skin cells in a woman's egg.
The embryos were the first to be made from cells taken from adult humans.
Although they survived for only five days and were smaller than a pinhead, they are seen as a milestone in the quest for treatments for diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
But critics fear the technology could be exploited by mavericks to clone babies and accused the scientists of reducing the miracle of human life to a factory of spare parts.
Researchers from the Californian stem cell research company Stemagen employed the same technique used to make Dolly the sheep, the world's first cloned mammal, to create the embryos.
They took eggs donated by young women having IVF and replaced genetic material with DNA from the skin cells of two men.
The eggs were then zapped with an electric current to induce fertilisation and the creation of embryos.
Some of the skin cells came from Dr Wood, Stemagen's chief executive officer and a leading fertility specialist, while the others came from another member of staff.
The result was a handful of embryos, at least three of them clones of Dr Wood and the other man.
Although all were destroyed in the process, the technique is seen as a vital step in the creation of cloned embryos rich in stem cells, which are "master cells" capable of becoming any type of body tissue.
____________________________ Why this is sick
1st reason...
"We have people creating human beings with the intention of destroying them. That's appalling."
2nd reason...
Josephine Quintavalle, of the campaign group Comment On Reproductive Ethics, said: "Human cloning is unethical, unsafe, and completely unnecessary.
"It is time that scientists started to put some brakes on."
Even More sickening...
The news came as it was revealed that animal-human hybrid embryos will be created in British laboratories within weeks after the research was allowed by the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority.
Thats right we are making human/animal hybrids... you may be wondering why. Well because it is unethical to do a lot to humans, but make a hybrid and you can do whatever the hell you want, because it isn't technically human, its only 99.99% human .01% cow.
And the worse thing
A scientist in Japan has found a way to take any ordinary adult cell, and turn them into stem cells without killing anybody. He has made heart cells and spine cells using the technique, and the only obstacle left in his way is preventing the small percentage that sometimes become tumorous.
Not only that, but because of this discovery, the guy that cloned Dolly the sheep, says that cloning is not the right way to go. This is so sick!
So what's got my panties in a bunch this week on the political front? There were many but what was most appalling to me is the cluster with the Michigan and Florida Democratic primaries. I personally cannot believe the Democratic National Committee wields the power to nix a persons vote. Yep, you heard me. If you live in Florida or Michigan and you thought your primary vote was going to count toward the nomination of the Democratic presidential candidate, I hate to tell you but your vote don't mean shit. But Rants, isn't this is America, a democracy where everyone has a say? I know, but sorry, your vote still won't count. The reason? It was the result of a pissing contest between the states and the DNC. Guess who lost…the voters.
Florida started it by moving the primaries up to January 29. That's a big no-no, Florida. The DNC rules state only 4 states can hold primaries before February 5. You weighed the consequences against the benefits and you did it anyway. Well, ya know the DNC got all ways pissy about that so it stripped away all 210 of your delegates. What's that mean for you? Well, at the convention when they're asking each state's delegates who should win the nomination, ya'll don't get a say…not even one vote. Four million registered Democrats in Florida got bent over by the DNC. Then Michigan, you decided to follow suit. Ya see, last presidential election Michigan had its primaries in August. By that time, the nominee is usually decided and writing their acceptance speech so you figured what the heck. The DNC spanked your backsides too and swiped your 156 delegates. At the convention, no votes for you either. To do the math for you, that's 366 delegates out of a needed 2025 to win the nomination. Ain't it grand that in America, 18% of the voters have no say in who wins the Democratic nomination? Something ain't right, folks.
_________ Has anyone else heard this story... it just seems hard to believe. I would think it would be all over the place on the news, I mean look at the fuss over the casino vote in Nevada. Anyone got a actual source that collaborates this story.
Abortions in US at lowest level since 1976: report
The number of abortions in the United States fell to the lowest level since the procedure was made legal some 35 years ago, according to a national study released Thursday.
The Guttmacher Institute, which researches issues pertaining to reproductive health and sexuality, said there were about 1.2 million abortions in 2005 -- 25 percent fewer than in 1990, when the number of abortions was about 1.6 million procedures.
In 2005, the US abortion rate was 19.4 abortions for every 1,000 women between the ages of 15 and 44, according to figures compiled from surveying abortion providers. The 2005 figure represented an eight percent drop from the number of abortions in 2000.
The finding underscores a continued a downward trend that started after the abortion rate peaked at 29.3 procedures per 1,000 women in 1981, according to the institute.
Despite the drop, slightly more than one pregnancy in five ended in abortion in 2005, the Guttmacher Institute said.
"Our policymakers at the state and federal levels need to understand that behind virtually every abortion is an unintended pregnancy, so we must redouble our efforts towards prevention, through better access to contraception," said Sharon Camp, president and chief executive officer of the Guttmacher Institute.
The last time the numbers were lower was in 1976 -- three years after abortions were legalized in the United States -- when 1.18 million abortions were performed.
It still sickens and deeply disturbs me. How can antiwar people be so against this war and yet be so apathetic towards abortion.
The guy states that most of these abortions are happening because the birth was unintended. So what? You don't want the kid, so you just kill it. No wonder people don't have a problem with war, what does abortion teach me? That killing to get what I want is ok!
Screw Hillary and Obama, both are pro choice yet anti war. What Bull?
GIRLS are starting to hit puberty at the age of THREE. Shocked doctors blame hormones in food and water for some British toddlers showing signs of breast growth.
Other pre-school youngsters even experience periods that normally start in their teens – and have temper tantrums just like adolescents.
The phenomenon is feared to have become more common since the 1990s – with doctors having to give increasing numbers of tots jabs to keep puberty at bay.
The mum of one girl, who at three was found to have the “bone age” of a nine-year-old, told how she was stunned when her daughter began acting like a ratty teen.
Hayley Holden said: “She used to slam doors and try and hit me. We’d go to supermarkets and she’d lie on the floor screaming.
“At the time, I just thought I had an ‘Omen’ child.”
She was stunned when medics told her Ellie-May – now eight – needed hormone injections to stave off puberty.
Harley Tedds, now ten, also has the painful jabs. Her mother Bernie said: “At five-years-old Harley was shaving her armpits and legs. ______________________
TWINS who unwittingly got married after they were separated at birth were victims of a quirk of fate “cruel beyond belief,” it emerged last night.
The smitten brother and sister — adopted by different families — discovered the shattering truth only after tying the knot.
Against all odds they had met and fallen for each other — neither even knowing they had a twin.
The horrified British couple faced the heartbreak of seeking to have their marriage annulled in the High Court after eventually finding out their love was forbidden.
A judge was forced to rule the union was NEVER valid in law.
Last night the peer who uncovered the astonishing case told The Sun of the twins’ “trauma”.
Lord Alton of Liverpool said: “Anyone hearing this story would feel heartbroken for them.
“It’s cruel beyond belief to discover that someone you’re in love with is so closely related to you.”
The twins were not named — but it is known they were separated soon after birth. Each was adopted by different parents — who never told them they had a twin. It was not clear HOW they eventually discovered they were brother and sister.
Experts said they would have been naturally attracted to each other — because they were so alike.
Biological psychologist Dr George Fieldman said: “Their mannerisms — and even their odour — would remind them of themselves.” Psychotherapist Audrey Sandbank, a consultant for the Twins and Multiple Births Association, said: “These twins were together until they were born and may have had a strong connection in the womb.
Holy cow, just read my fathers debates on the other blog he has joined. His debates make me and figgy look like amateurs.
You read his blog, it got a few people pissed off, but what I see on this site is so beyond anything I have seen here. Just read the comments and arguments. It seems like a lot, but oh was it fascinating.
I can't believe it, I'm not the father... it is a producer of the show she stars on nickelodeon who got her pregnant. I don't know what to say... I'm hurt...
But hey... at least I'm not going to have to raise the kid!!! I'm not having kids after all Yeah!!
Phew, I don't think I've tackled a tougher question. I've asked about the meaning of life, should abortion be legal, and are men really to blame for global warming, but this question might be the hardest topic I've ever attempted to answer.
First thing I had to do was some research, this is some of the answers I found from just the regular folks...
"because they r dumb @sses"
"because we need punching bags"
"because we let them."
Can you tell which responses come from women and which ones come from men? Hint one of them came from a man. The other two from women...
First let me eliminate accidental offense. As a guy we must lack a gene out of our Y chromosome that would alert us and inform us that we are dong something that is hurting the one we love. This is my most feared form of hurting women, because it does not require me to be aware I am hurting my girlfriend or wife. Its at that moment when we find out our loved one is upset with us, and we don't even know what we did. This type of action can be due to what we did, said, didn't say and even didn't do, and we had no intention to hurt her.
Men would hope that if we intended to never hurt our girlfriends, that would be enough, but unfortunately.. it isn't. I can't tell you how many times I've had to apologize for hurting someone without meaning to do it.
So I would say the first person who stated: "because they r dumb @sses"
Is referring to our ignorance. Ladies I beg you to forgive us on this one. I don't know what we can do to avoid this, because we don't even know what we are trying to avoid. My only advice here is to do your best to point out the accidental hurting before it happens or gets worse. Please don't expect us to know better, because if we did, hopefully we wouldn't do it in the first place.
Lying:
It seems so simple, Never Ever Lie, but thats not enough either, you also can't withhold information.
Now to some degree I'm sure were not expected to tell all, but if she feels it is important for her to know, we should respect that request.
But what about straight up lying?
Rationalizing...
We might first think...(just a few examples)
1. She will never find the truth out. 2. The truth will hurt her &/or 3. I'm protecting her from the truth 4. She will be mad at me(protecting our ass) 5. I'm embarrassed about the truth, and I don't want her to think of me that way. (we lie to make ourselves look good)
Men know women are emotional, and may think they are happier not knowing the truth, and fool themselves into thinking they can keep the truth from them. They may even excuse themselves into thinking they are protecting their lover's sensitivity.
Motive
The best defense against lying in my opinion, is don't have a motive. If your doing something you don't want your girlfriend to know about, you are creating a motive to lie. Don't put yourself in that situation.
Don't rationalize it... you may think you can get away with it, but it is better to be upfront about it, and if your worried the truth will cause her to leave you, well, I hope whatever you did wasn't intentional, because if you cheated, you may deserved to be dumped. Again avoid motive. If it was unintentional, lying about it will always be seen as intentional, and your better off telling the truth.
1. Physical 2. Emotional I'll be dealing with intentional abuse only
This is some serious crap...
Any man who purposely physically or emotionally abuses his spouse/girlfriend has some serious issues. Until reformation of behavior can be indoctrinated, these guys should be kept separate from any potential mate. The causes vary, but the signs are not as varied. Look for the warning sings, and avoid at all costs, but that isn't always easy, as my research explains in detail...
Out of my research I found this explanation...
I wouldn't want to imply every woman would have the same reason(s) for returning to a man who's done her wrong ... but yes, some of the problems you mentioned can play a role. Women who grew up in homes where they were not valued, were emotionally abused or neglected, or physically or sexually abused may grow up feeling that's the only kind of relationship that's possible. They may be drawn to neglectful or abusive men because those kinds of relationships are familiar to them. Most of us automatically avoid the unknown and unfamiliar.
Some women who were abused or neglected as children, or grew up in homes where their mothers were abused even if the children were not, unconsciously seek out similar men in attempts to triumph over their childhood circumstances. They (and other trauma victims) may feel compelled to put themselves in similar abusive or neglectful circumstances again and again, each time believing they'll have a different outcome. It's an attempt to master the past trauma by convincing themselves (and perhaps others) that NOW they have control over the situation. But of course they usually end up being hurt again.
Some women who deny their childhoods were unhappy, neglectful or abusive, or who have amnesia for much of such childhoods, end up in what psychiatrist Richard Kluft has called "sitting duck syndrome" -- repeatedly abused in one relationship after another because they've got blinders on for the warning signs. If they allowed themselves to see (and feel) the danger signals of abuse and neglect, they might recognize those signals were also present in their childhood relationships with parents or siblings, and thus have to face some unpleasant realities about those childhood experiences. They may rather (at an unconscious level) continue to believe their parents were nonabusive, preserving their relationship with their parents at the cost of being able to recognize and respond to hurtful attitudes and behaviors in other relationships. *Smith, Joan
So I'm assuming that is what this person meant when she said
"because we let them."
