Excrutiating tiredness. Posted 9/14/2008 6:59:59 PM I am incredibly tired right now. The thyroidism still isn't under control,I've had to nurse the babies and myself through a very nasty bout of colds and sickness. On the plus side, Dan and I have decided we are going to move away from where we are now. It's a good decision to make,even though I'm petrified.I know it's good for us to make a fresh start.Too many bad things have happened for both of us and being somewhere new,able to create new memories for ourselves and the girls...that would be amazing. It's just the change,you know? I'm very comfortable where I am living.It gives me permission to complain without having to do an awful lot about it. But things started to really change for us when I made the decision to have a different pregnancy and birth with Meg. Since then,since I have shown that kind of determination to change things for myself,Dan has grabbed that by the horns and wants more from me. He wants to live in a better place, a bigger place and somewhere that will not pose so much negativity onto us. He wants us to be able to do whatever makes us a better family (including having more children lol) The problem is,the emotional energy I used up getting what I wanted with Meg...well,it pretty much drained me. I know she is nearly 7 months old and most mothers are back on their feet now,but I just havent had it in me. There is too much wrong with me. Now I'm just making up excuses.I know I am. I hid behind the children as a reason not to move. I hid behind schools and friends and family in order not to have to make the decision to move. But we are moving. We dont know when,and thats ok. It gives us time to decorate the house so that it is in reasonable condition as per our current housing agreement. Ye Gods though,I'm very tired. Excrutiatingly so. The whole core of my being wants to sleep,hibernate even,until it's all over and done with. Perhaps when it is all over and done with,I will get my wish... (8) Comments
