I got around to fixing my blog (finally), and updates...
Tonight I finally got around to fixing up all the coding mishaps dealing with my old blog, there were alot of problems since we had updated new scripts with NewBlog in itself, so my blog had been missing a good number of features and information. But, I finally got it all fixed up and revamped a bit with my overall blog design. It's very plain but it'll do. I may or may not be on for the next two months due to my back surgery coming up here tomorrow, so I bid you all a farewell until then.

General: GP Interactive has finally launched...
Kamon and I own the small computer company, GP Interactive. We currently develop websites, software, and video games (for the PC). Just recently, we decided it was the right time to launch our new website and have GP Interactive come out from the dark and go live. You may now contact us via website "contact us" link if you would like to inquire about our design packages.

General: Well, on to a new year
Well, being stationed over in Korea, I celebrated New Years here (which is a day ahead of the states). Ended up having a BBQ, playing poker, winning $200, enjoyed a case of Corona and sat back to play the XBox 360 for a bit. Turned out alright, but something was missing.

Finally, we figured the only right thing to do would be to celebrate the American New Years as well, to make it feel more like being back home. So we drank through every time zone until we got to Hawaii (which is the last one on the list, and where my wife and home is at). We awoke from this drunken stuper, but in the end we got to celebrate New Years for all of North America, to make us feel that much more at home, since we are all away from our families at the moment.

Happy New Years to you all!
General: Back Surgery
Well, I go into the operating room today. I'll be getting a "Spinal Tap" so to speak. Back in my skateboarding days (before my wife banned me from my board, hehe, I love her for it), and during my experience in the military, I've fractured my L-5 (lower disc) and have a slipped, buldging L-4 (lower disc). They will be inserting steroids into my spinal colum and taking fluid from my back; and to be perfectly honest, I'm a little nervous due to the fact that my back is sensitive as it is..lol.

It's like when you get that wierd jump when somebody just barely pokes you in the small of your back, whether you are looking at them or not, you always jump or try to avoid that finger. Well I don't get any numbing medication, and it's a foot long needle...hah. I'll post updates here whenever I can get up out of bed after the operation. Merry Christmas to you all and have a Happy New Years!

Tutorials and Videos: NewBlog Tutorial Video on it's way
I'm going to be posting up in a week or so, my NewBlog video tutorial to give ones a visual representation of how they are able to set up and personalize their NewBlog page.

For those of you that aren't very good with writing code(programming) with Notepad, or other non-visual programs, I will be showing you how you can create your NewBlog page with a website editor. If any of you have Frontpage, or DreamWeaver, this will be suitable for the tutorial video. If you can't afford the programs, then try and download a trial or pick up a free website editor from "download.com".

I'll be posting more information on the video in the upcoming week. It may take me a few more days to finalize the video due to the fact that I'm not sure how busy with work I'll become withen the holiday season, especially being stationed over here in Korea, you never know what kinda shift schedule the Army will assign to you...heh.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's!

Game Development: How to Get Your Game Published
I have recently written an article explaining the main points of how to get your game published. Well...more so explaining the ways of the publisher. The article explains, what TO do...and also what NOT TO do. If there are any game developers out there...whether you are just getting started or have developed many games, you should read this article because it might help you no matter how far along in the game industry you are.

Funnies: Drowning Skit
Know one wants to drown....drowning would be the worst, cause everyone
knows that feeling. That feeling that you get, Oh its the worst.
When you think you're drowning. like during the summer,
You're like at a pool party or something.
"I'm gonna go into the deep end. Watch my dive. Watch my dive.
Right, then you dive in.
*SPLASH*
And the second you get to the bottom your like,
"GET ME OUTTA HEEEERE!! WHERES THE SURFACE?!!"
And you always some up under the kid on the raft.
"Jesus Christ Timmy! Do not float above me when
I'm Dying in the Abyss! Your son almost killed me with his,
Uhhhh, Daffy Duck raft over here John. Your son tried to murder me
in your pool. Float away from me. Float away."

You know what would be the worst?? This would be the ultimate worst
right here. What if you dove into the pool, and while you were
at the bottom of the pool freaking out, somebody poured oil on the
surface and lit it on fire! Yeah then you're like,
"AHHHHHH!"
You gotta just keep swimming around, feeling for a spotwhere theres
no fire. Then, What if you found a circle where there was no fire,
but the second you came up a big dude just punched you in the face
"Get back in the fiery water!
You don't come out of the fiery water, cover up that hole with some fire now!
Get back in the fiery water!"

Fire. Has anyone here ever been fully engulfed in fire?
Its gotta be soo hot. That is way too hot.
Its the worst feeling when you burn yourself too.
You know, sometimes you're making some soup or some oodlesof noodles
or something; Or you're cooking up some crack. And you know,
You touch the side of the pot. Just that little
*TSSSS*
"WOAH!!" That, Freakin' kills!! That little thing, you can't take a shower
for like three weeks. You gotta like hold your hand out cause the steam
makes you angry. You try to bring your hand in,
"OOOOOO! I HATE STEAM! WHOEVER INVENTED STEAM SUCKS!"
General: Text that wraps around an image snippet
There was a question that arose recently about how to move text around an image in your post so it flows nicely...well here's the code snippet for you all that need to know about this...enjoy!

I'm going to replace the tag brackets with an "@" symbol so it will be able to show up and so you'll know where to place your brackets.

@img src="http://www.whatever.com/whateverimage.jpg" align=left@ This text will show up on the edge of your picture and like Scoots stated in his post the text will flow nicely until the bottom of the picture.

Once you want to make your text go back to normal and underneath the picture you can use the @BR CLEAR=ALL@ tag to clear the alignment to go back to normal text writing that will scan from one side of your post to the other.

If you do this correctly it will show up like this:

This text will show up on the edge of your picture and like Scoots stated in his post the text will flow nicely until the bottom of the picture.

Once you want to make your text go back to normal and underneath the picture you can use the @BR CLEAR=ALL@ tag to clear the alignment to go back to normal text writing that will scan from one side of your post to the other.

and this text will now be underneath the picture and back to normal format :)

For the past week, I've been trying to get the Reality Engine SDK, for my companies next PC game title, "The Legend of Kilpatrick".

I'm also going on a hiring hunt for a few C/C++ Programmers that are wanting to join the team to complete the game....was hoping Scott was free, heh ;)
