I just read some posts and blogs from the "dark side of the moon " ... seems to be everywere ... In our lifetime, we meet many types of people and we all face challenges in our lives. But how we handle these challenges, how we look at life is truly what matters. We can all look at life one of two ways: 1. we can focus on the good and move forward, or, 2. we can focus on the negative and let the dark in our life . Hi everybody

Once again I had problems with computer , but this time we had more more than 1 week disconnection from internet provider . It was so hard to be away , butnow I'm back for 2 weeks more . Lunch time , everybody invited

Well ... I adore to cook , simple like that ... or like that ... : )))))))) "The belly rules the mind." ~ Spanish proverb I don't believe in this , but don't you ever contradict a conquistador .... or with a viking Sooo ... in this chilly , windy , rainy day nothing can be better than someting to warm our soul : chicken soup . This soup is wonderful on a cold day or when feeling the need for comfort food. It is quick and easy to make . All you need is : 4 chicken breasts, with bones and skin attached 2 whole carrots, cleaned,not skinned,cut in chunks 1 large onion, quartered 3 stalks celery, cleaned,leaves attached,cut in chunks 3 cloves garlic 1 tablespoon black peppercorns 12 cups water 2 cups chopped carrots 2 cups chopped onions 2 cups chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped parsley salt and pepper cooked noodles or rice 1 cup fresh lemon juice ( that's the clue ... Place small chicken in a large pot and fill with water until it covers the chicken. Add all remaining ingredients except pasta. Bring to boil, turn heat down and simmer for 1 hour or until chicken is about to fall off the bone. Remove Chicken, de-bone and chop into bite size chunks. Return chicken to pot. Bring to a boil, add pasta , add lemon juice , simmer for 5 minutes to blend flavors and that'a all folks . Can be done in the crockpot too and don't forget to decorate with fresh lemon . We sit and we type and we stare at our screens, We can't help but wonder what all of this means. With mouse in hand ...we roam through this maze, On an infinite search...lost in a daze. We chat with each other, we type all our woes At times we'll band together to gang up on our foes. We wait for somebody, to type out our name We want recognition, but it is always the same. Soon friendships are formed - but - why we don't know, But some of these friendships, will flourish and grow. We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes we'll flirt, In IMs we chat deeply, and reveal why we hurt. Why is it on screen, we are so easily bold, Telling our secrets, that have never been told. The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell, We all have our problems, and need someone to tell. Great Big Hugs

It is another cold and frost afternoon here in Göteborg , I have just put some seeds, nuts and cake crumbs out for the birds, I feed them daily and it is lovely to see them in the garden. The water in the bird bath was frozen but my son broke the ice so that the birds could have a drink. The weekend is here, wow it is already December. The time is flying. I had a very busy day yesterday and even now , but I took a little break to be here with lotus , Aisha , all my friends and every one on this wonderful community .
