Daily: Feeling great Posted 10/26/2006 11:45:37 AM Today I am feeling great...All is wonderful in my world...My daughter is doing better...last time we talked she talked my ear off...be4 It was like I'd practically have to drag things out of her about how she is or what she's been up too....lol And I have had the last 2 days off in which I have enjoyed them very much...doing absolutely nothing for a change:) And I have had lots of special time with my Sweetheart John:) We are going to Vegas soon and I'm excited about that too....Wow Just thought I'd share with my friends what a greak week I am having! Daily: A Mother's Thoughts.. Posted 10/23/2006 5:19:21 AM Well, recently My daughter called and told me she is having anxiety attacks, and doesn't know why...said nothing is really going on to cause it...so she went to the doctor and he gave her a couple of scripts and at first she was feeling so much better, happy and care free so to speak. She said she was gonna hug the doctor...lol for one of the meds, but the other made her loopie, so she wasn't too sure about that one. She has always been very timid and she said she actually approached a lady and helped her jump start her car the other day, to which normally she would be afraid to go up to someone alone and talk to them. But yesterday she called me, (I had a missed call on my cell phone cause I was at work.) So I called her as soon as I saw it...she was in the middle of another anxiety attack when I called so I asked her the dose docotor prescribed and it was really high she said and would call me back...I looked up online and the dose was way to high! So I was just about to call my sis who lives near my daughter and is a nurse, when my daughter called back and we were able to talk now that she was feeling better...I found out that she told me the wrong dose(as she was having the attack)...so I felt better but then learned the doctor had only told her to take it 2 times a day and not what times to take it...and due to not taking anything other than tylenol before she had been taking it at noon and 6pm. yikes....I told her it was to be 2 times a day in a 24hr day so that is once every 12 hrs., so she was overdosing, and it wasn't a panic attack but complications of too much too soon....talk about my heart flipping! Now she is feeling better and taking at the right times...but oh my did she ever scare her momma! I hate her living so far away when stuff like this happens...but she has a lot of my family there and her dads family too... But I still feel like I aged 10 yrs yesterday! So this is one of the many things going on for me...sorry I haven't been on lately. I miss you all! (2) Comments

Daily: The winter blahs Posted 10/19/2006 5:05:47 AM Well I am starting the winter blahs I think...feeling more aches and pains....and feeling lazier...yuk. I was just sitting and watching tv the other day and thought...OMG I am starting to be like Mr. Boots...just lazing around on the couch! So...I gotta do something...so I got up and did a few exercises, and oh my...did i feel it the next day! So, guess I better just do a little each day, now that I don't go out as much for exercise since it's geeting colder...no Icy bike rides for me burr! I do not want to get lazy like my cat...or begin hybernation practices like a bear...where I fatten up thru the winter...yikes! Sorry for the ramble...but I bet there are more of you out there that fall into this routine when winter comes too. If so, give me some ideas on things you do to prevent the winter blahs and lazys. I get lots of exercise at work, but apparently your body gets used to it and you have to 'up the ante' to make your body feel it. This summer I began riding bikes...and now that's out for the cold weather for me...so what's next? I hate just doing boring exercise, never been much for walking or jogging...just seems boring and I do enough walking at work. What are some of the things you do? (1) Comments
