Ive read some post and see some of you garden.. my talents lack major in this department so i am open for suggestions. I have a 6' x 9' flower box in my front yard that the neighbors would love to see something other than weeds growing in. I dont know one flower for another. but i would welcome some suggestions. I need something that is fairly low maintenance since i am not home much.

Have you ever been Snipe hunting? Spring is upon us and we love to go camping and fishing. I love those nights by the fire and all the stories that are told. When i was a young girl i had a major crush on one of my parents boys.. He was 4 years older and having a party...(supervised) lol.. like that make a difference. He said i could come if i would go snipe hunting... Gosh I so ... remember that night.

Flapper is right about the 1 sq. ft. garden. It is getting popular. I also grow strawberries for ground cover!Lettuce looks great with flowers. Ribs are better but I can do absolutely nothing! Swept the kitchen floor and was hueting good this AM!

No, I was serious about the lettuce. A square foot or so is all you need. Hide it behind some flowers if you don't like the way it looks--but the mesclun mix variety is kind of attractive, foliage-wise.
